Raikkonen unmoved by JPM speculation

Kimi Raikkonen has said that he would not be fazed by the prospect of having Juan Pablo Montoya as a team-mate at McLaren, according to this week's AUTOSPORT magazine

Montoya has been linked with a move to McLaren when his current Williams contract expires at the end of 2004, and recently refused to rule out a switch to any of Formula 1's major teams.

But in an interview with AUTOSPORT this week, Raikkonen said that there was little point in considering what it would be like to line up alongside the Colombian.

"Montoya is not my team-mate and I don't know if he ever will be," said Raikkonen. "I have my place in the team and I don't care who is my team-mate, because I concentrate on my own things. Whoever the other driver is doesn't change my position in the team and that's why it's not disturbing me."
