Raikkonen Relying on Strategy to Win

Kimi Raikkonen is confident his McLaren-Mercedes team's tactics for Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix will give him a strong chance of ending the season with his second win of the year.
Finn Raikkonen, who won in Belgium in August, qualified third fastest behind Brazilian Ferrari driver Rubens Barrichello and Colombian Williams driver Juan Pablo Montoya for the Interlagos race.
But he said: "I was happy with the qualifying. It was a pretty good lap and I think we have a good chance. It is difficult to say what they are doing, we only know what we are doing, but I think we have good tactics."
Raikkonen is hoping that starting behind pole man Barrichello will give him an advantage because the opposite side of the grid is notoriously dusty at the Sao Paulo track. His flying lap in qualifying put him little more than one tenth of a second behind the pole time and after two small mistakes on his run he is confident his pace was a match for his faster rivals.
Raikkonen, who spun in Friday practice, said: "I was pretty happy with the car yesterday, maybe not to start but ever since (the spin) the car has been very good. The rear got a bit loose in corner one and nine also but it was okay."
Raikkonen was expected to rocket into form after the Belgian victory but he has since retired in Italy and managed only third and sixth in the Chinese and Japanese events before heading to Brazil.
