Massa: new aero to come
Sauber is concentrating on a revised aerodynamic package, building on changes made at their successful recent test in Jerez. The changes will be rolled out for the final pre-season test, to be held later this month in Imola, as the team has decided not to attend next week's test in Barcelona.
Felipe Massa also suggested that the problems the team has recently suffered, described by team boss Peter Sauber as "a hiccup", have mostly been resolved over the last few days of testing. When asked what needed to be improved on the C24, Massa told autosport.com "not much, if you judge by our performance here!"
The Brazilian, who has been at or near the top of the time sheets over the last few days, has suggested there is more to come from the team, noting "we realized there were some changes to be made, mostly to the front of the car, and we'll have a new front wing and nose cone for the final test before Melbourne."
"I know many people expected us to run the double front wings everywhere but that's not the plan. We won't be running the wings we have here either, as the new ones look a bit different from the current ones."
The Imola test will commence on February 21.
