Honda test driver decision this month
Honda Racing are expecting to make a decision about who will be their 2008 test driver before Christmas
The Japanese manufacturer recently tested Mike Conway, Andreas Zuber and Luca Filippi at Barcelona and Jerez, and they are now weighing up whether to take one of them or opt for a more experienced driver.
Honda Racing's chief executive Nick Fry told autosport.com that the team were currently sifting through the data from the test before making a decision about who will be their third driver.
"We are looking at what to do at the moment and hopefully this side of Christmas we will be in a position to say something," he said.
"We have tested some very good youngsters and obviously we have the option of experienced people as well. So at the moment we are thinking what to do."
Christian Klien was Honda's test driver this year, but opted to leave the role so he could chase a race seat with Force India.
He is currently waiting for that team to decide what to do, with Giancarlo Fisichella currently favourite to line up alongside Adrian Sutil next year.
