Grapevine: Rubens Set for Last Ferrari Outing

Rubens Barrichello will officially sign off his career as a Ferrari driver at Mugello in Italy this weekend when he puts on some demonstration runs at the annual Ferrari World Finals event

Although the Brazilian has competed in his last race for the Maranello team, he remains contractually bound to the outfit until the end of December and has therefore been drafted in alongside Michael Schumacher for this weekend's spectacular.

Barrichello's runs in the F2005 will be the last time that he drives a Ferrari single-seater, although he will be conducting some passenger rides for his family in a Ferrari three-seater at Fiorano on October 24.

Speaking about the runs for his family, he said: "I'm going to take them for a ride to see what I mean by going fast. All those who have done so much for me - grandad, mother, father, sister, everyone."

Barrichello is leaving Ferrari to join BAR next season, but is not allowed to drive for the team until January.
