Grapevine: RoC organisers to offer track days

Racing fans are being offered the chance to test-drive the new Wembley Stadium Race of Champions track prior to the big event on December 16

The London stadium has announced that it is to host a number of 'Race of Champions Track Days' early next month where fans will get the chance to race karts around the new circuit.

There will be three special two-hour track sessions per day from December 3-13, where companies and groups can hire out a 200cc Daytona kart to battle it out around the same venue where Michael Schumacher and Jenson Button will be racing at the big event.

Alex Horne, Managing Director for Wembley Stadium said: "We're really excited to be hosting the Race of Champions next month and the line-up of drivers for the event is fantastic.

"However, we've worked hard with The Race of Champions to ensure that it's not just our motor-sporting heroes that get the unique experience of racing at Wembley. The track days that precede the main event create a once in a lifetime opportunity for aspiring Schumachers to test their driving skills inside the stadium."
