Fisichella Joins Atlas F1

Jordan driver Giancarlo Fisichella is among the latest to join Atlas F1's magazine staff.

Jordan driver Giancarlo Fisichella is among the latest to join Atlas F1's magazine staff.

The Italian driver will feature in a personal monthly column, appearing online exclusively on Atlas F1. He will offer insight into his life as a Grand Prix driver; the battle for success; and the development of his team over the 2002 season.

Fisichella, now in his seventh Formula One season, is one of the most popular drivers today and comes highly rated by his peers. He is also known in the paddock as one of the most amicable drivers.

This is the first time Fisichella will be writing a column for an independent Formula One web site, and the Italian will be assisted in his writing by close friend and long time journalist Georgie Shaw. His first column will appear in the upcoming magazine issue, published on Wednesday.

"I am really very happy to start writing my new column for Atlas F1," Fisichella commented on the deal, adding: "especially since my first column comes after I scored my first points of the season!"

Along with Fisichella, renowned writer Jane Nottage joins Atlas F1 and will be a central figure in the magazine's staff. Nottage, who wrote until recently for F1 Magazine, has published numerous books on Formula One and has unmatched ties with the teams and drivers.

Fisichella and Nottage are the final parts of what is arguably the best and most varied team writing for any Formula One web site. The Atlas F1 'Dream Team' also includes Jo Ramirez, Doug Nye and Ann Bradshaw - who joined Atlas F1 earlier this year, as well as Karl Ludvigsen, Thomas O'Keefe, Timothy Collings and many more.
