Fisichella: I Got the Best out of the Car

Italian Giancarlo Fisichella believes his Jordan car was not capable of going any faster in today's qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix at Barcelona.

Italian Giancarlo Fisichella believes his Jordan car was not capable of going any faster in today's qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix at Barcelona.

Fisichella failed to shine on Saturday with his Honda-powered EJ12, which is struggling for grip and lacking power, according to the Roman.

"I feel I got the best out of the car and although it's not that I am pleased with P12, under the circumstances it is not a bad result," said Fisichella, who finished down in 12th place.

"We did a good job with the car as the balance was good. We need more downforce to help the grip levels tomorrow plus more power."

Takuma Sato endured another tough day, crashing out during practice this morning and then struggling with the handling of his car, finishing in a disappointing 19th position.

"All round a difficult session," said Sato. "Circumstances were difficult today and I found the car very nervous. I suffered from traffic on the second run in sector two which was frustrating as I was up on my previous lap time.

"I am sure we will find a better balance in the morning session which will put us in better shape for the race."

Both Jordan drivers are yet to score a point this year.
