Watch the exclusive Christian Horner video interview as he discusses his Formula 1 experiences from building Red Bull into an all-conquering team, his subsequent exit as team boss and his intense rivalry with Mercedes.
Horner was a well-known figure within motorsport circles but through F1’s Liberty Media-led explosion into the mainstream he became famous worldwide and, at times, a pantomime villain through his portrayal in Netflix’s Drive to Survive series.
The former Red Bull team boss reflects on his time in F1, from arriving as the youngest team principal on the grid amid the Jaguar overhaul, to setting the foundations for the Red Bull Powertrains operation, which has won multiple grands prix in its first season.
Horner also discusses his experiences working with legendary designer Adrian Newey, learning to manage young drivers and difficult dynamics between team-mates Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber, as well as his take on current F1.
