Di Resta testing programme revealed

Force India reserve driver Paul di Resta will have his first taste of the team's 2010 car at Jerez on February 17, AUTOSPORT can reveal

The 2004 McLaren AUTOSPORT BRDC Award winner is scheduled to take the wheel of the Force India VJM03 on the opening day of next week's Jerez test, and will also run on the first day of the Barcelona test on February 25.

Di Resta, who tested Force India's 2009 car during last December's rookie testing at Jerez, is getting the testing opportunity to ensure that he has the necessary F1 superlicence to participate in the first free practice session at grands prix this year.

Di Resta is likely to be the only reserve drive to appear in the tests. McLaren's Gary Paffett is the only other non-race driver scheduled to run after his appearance on the first day of last week's Valencia test.

Tonio Liuzzi, who drove the Force India at Jerez today, and Adrian Sutil will share the remaining six days at the second Jerez and Barcelona tests.
