Delight at Sauber after Double Points Finish

The whole Sauber team were delighted after a strong showing at the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday, when both Nick Heidfeld and teammate Felipe Massa scored points for the Swiss outfit.

Heidfeld, who had already finished in the points at the Malaysian Grand Prix, drove a trouble-free race to finish in fourth place, allowing Sauber to equal Renault in the Constructors' Championship after the first five races.

"This has been a really good weekend," said Heidfeld. "As we did last year we just keep improving the car, so I'm very happy. We have shown competitive speed all year, and now we have the points we deserve to go with it.

"That was a really strong race, the car had no technical problems at all, and the set-up was fine and consistent. A great weekend."

Rookie Massa completed another brilliant performance in only his fifth Formula One Grand Prix, keeping Arrows's Heinz-Harald Frentzen at bay during the last part of the race. The Brazilian, who had scored his first point in Malaysia, was very happy.

"It feels amazing to finish fifth in only my fifth Grand Prix," he said. "I'm taking things step-by-step and others have more experience than me, but today everything was really good. This was a fabulous race for me, and a great way to celebrate my 21st birthday weekend!"
