Conway signs Honda deal
British Formula Three champion Mike Conway has signed an agreement with Honda Racing that will see him test one of their cars later this year
The Briton, who is racing for Super Nova in GP2 this season, will also receive technical assistance and fitness support from the F1 team as part of his new deal.
"This is a fantastic opportunity to me and I would like to thank the Honda Racing F1 Team for putting their faith in me," said Conway.
"I am really excited about becoming a part of the team and taking full advantage of the assistance that Honda can give me with my racing career.
"I had a great season in 2006 but there is a lot of hard work ahead in the GP2 series this year."
Honda's sporting director Gil de Ferran added: "Mike has clearly demonstrated his potential and talent throughout his career in the various junior formulae with a great deal of success.
"His results in the British F3 series last year were particularly impressive. Honda considers the development of emerging motorsport talent to be a key part of our strategy and we look forward to having Mike on board with us and assisting further with his development over the coming months."
