Stewards' document no. 18: The Stewards have received a report from the Technical Delegate that after the second free practice session on Friday the engine of car no. 21, driver Zsolt Baumgartner, has been replaced. Having considered the matter, the Stewards of the Meeting decide that the driver in accordance with Article 86 of the 2004 FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations will drop ten places on the grid.

Stewards' document no. 20: The Stewards have received a report from the Technical Delegate that after the first free practice session on Friday the engine of car no. 11, driver Giancarlo Fisichella, has been replaced. Having considered the matter, the Stewards of the Meeting decide that the driver, in accordance with Article 86 of the 2004 FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations will drop ten places on the grid.
