McLaren had a huge horizontal fin (1) attached to the central section. It featured a leading edge with a distinct wing profile (2) and there was an extra channel (3) to direct the air in the desired direction.



A comparison of Ferrari and Williams ballast located in the knife-edge section and detached from the rest of the bodywork. Ferrari (second image down) has used this system since 1998, but Williams (third image) has used it only since this year's Chinese Grand Prix. Previously Williams used a single piece incorporated into the bodywork.



The endplate is part of a new Williams front-wing package. The knife-edge section inside (1) which was previously flat at the trailing edge is now rounded. The middle endplate (2) is linked to the top flap in a way where there can be some movement (represented in yellow).
