Badoer Still Enjoying Ferrari Job

Italian Luca Badoer says he is still enjoying his job as Ferrari's test driver after six years working for the historic Formula One team.
29-year old Badoer competed with the BMS, Minardi and Forti teams before he was hired by Ferrari at the start of the 1998 season. Since then, he has been working for the Maranello-based squad as a test driver.
Despite not racing, however, the Italian says he is still highly motivated.
"I like my work a lot and will continue to do it for as long as I can," said the Italian driver at International Press Ski Meeting, currently underway at Madonna di Campiglio. "I am undertaking work that is very tough and of fundamental importance to a Formula One team.
"We do so many kilometres to develop the car and tyres and you have to give it your all and get the most out of it. At the end of a day's testing, you have to give all your impressions on the car's behaviour to the engineers, who then pass this information onto the race team.
"Even though I am not involved in a competitive activity there is plenty to stimulate me as part of such an important team. Improving something as good as a Ferrari is always motivating."
Badoer works alongside Brazilian Luciano Burti, who joined the team as the second test driver at the start of last year.
