Arrows Drivers Relish Entertaining Race

Both Arrows drivers Enrique Bernoldi and Heinz-Harald Frentzen were pleased with their performance at Sunday's European Grand Prix despite leaving Germany with no points to show for.

Both Arrows drivers Enrique Bernoldi and Heinz-Harald Frentzen were pleased with their performance at Sunday's European Grand Prix despite leaving Germany with no points to show for.

"I enjoyed today's race more than any other," admitted Bernoldi after finishing in 10th place in the race. "I had a great start and could fight for places throughout the race and basically enjoyed every bit of it.

"I have to say that the best bit was probably the last lap as I managed to overtake Pedro (de la Rosa) on the outside of the chicane which pleased me a lot as I didn't want him to beat me."

Teammate Heinz-Harald Frentzen was also able to cross under the chequered flag despite a spin when trying to overtake Jacques Villeneuve in the British American Racing car.

The German driver, however, also suffered a problem with the fuel rig during his pit-stop that hampered his progress even more. Frentzen went on to finish in 13th position, but admitted he had enjoyed the race despite not scoring any points.

"I really enjoyed the race today as I was having a lot of good fights for position," Frentzen said. "It's a shame it wasn't a fight for points but enjoyable nonetheless. The car felt extremely good throughout the race as we managed to sort out the balance this morning. The fuel rig problem is very annoying. I think we need to go and get a new one.
