Toyota team boss Ove Andersson was delighted with the performance of his Cologne-based outfit at Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix.
After a difficult qualifying on Saturday, both Allan McNish and teammate Mika Salo were capable of finishing the race, in eighth and ninth places respectively, despite the Finn suffering an early puncture that forced him to come into the pits.
Following a double retirement at the San Marino Grand Prix two weeks ago, Andersson was happy to see both his car crossing under the chequered flag.
"To get both cars to the end of the race in 8th and 9th is wonderful," said Andersson after the race. "It goes to show that if you want to get a result you have to finish, and we did that today.
"Mika had a puncture near the start of the race, but there were no major technical problems and I am very pleased for the whole team who have worked so hard all weekend."
Toyota, making their Formula One team this season, have scored two points so far thanks to two sixth places in Brazil and Australia.
