Alonso says only focused on Spa race

World champion Fernando Alonso says he is focusing entirely on preparing for the Belgian Grand Prix as most of McLaren's figures attended a hearing in Paris that could shatter their title hopes

"I am not thinking about anything outside here in the paddock," Alonso told a news conference at Spa.

"I have a meeting with the engineers now sorting out tyres to use in P1 and P2, checking the forecast for the weekend, set-up, the updates from the test in July... Any more than this I am not ready to think.

"I am 100 percent concentrated in this paddock, in this track and winning this race. Other than that I will not have two seconds of thinking," the Spaniard added.

Briton Lewis Hamilton, as well as the team's test driver Pedro de la Rosa, attended the Paris hearing, where McLaren are defending from allegations that they have used leaked Ferrari data to their benefit.

When asked why he wasn't in Paris, Alonso said: "No comment."

"I will not comment anything about what is happening today, the answer will be the same as before," added the world champion.

"I am concentrating on this race, I don't think what can happen or what cannot happen in Paris. I am not on this matter today."
