Webber: No plans to leave Red Bull

Mark Webber says he has no plans to leave Red Bull Racing next season, and insists the atmosphere in the team is absolutely fine

Webber was in the spotlight on Thursday after saying team-mate Sebastian Vettel was the preferred driver by Red Bull, something that prompted Christian Horner to deny the team favoured the young German.

That was followed by speculation that Webber could leave Red Bull Racing before the start of next year, despite having a contract for 2011.

But the Australian insisted on Friday that everything was fine with his team, and that he had no plans to leave as long as he enjoyed driving.

"It is okay. I think yesterday there were a few comments which I don't think was a big surprise to people, but it is fine in the team. Absolutely fine," said Webber on Friday.

"I have a very good relationship with the right people to give me technically a great chance to do a very good job, and that is the most important thing."

He added: "As long as I am enjoying my driving and performing reasonably well, and it went okay today, so as long as I don't forget how to drive in the next few months then of course I will be here next year."
