Williams, BMW complete Jerez test

In-season testing came to an end on Friday at the Jerez circuit, with both the Williams and BMW teams wrapping up a four-day test

On a sunny day at the Spanish tack, BMW's Robert Kubica topped the times ahead of the two other drivers on track, the Pole completing over 100 laps to finish with a best time of 1:17.562.

Kubica's teammate Nick Heidfeld was scheduled to join him today, but the German was forced to skip the session as he was not feeling well.

The Williams team completed their second test with the Toyota engine powering the cars of Alex Wurz and Narain Karthikeyan. The Austrian was the quickest of the Williams duo, albeit over two seconds off Kubica's pace.

Karthikeyan caused the only red flag of the day when he went off at the Angel Nieto corner.

Formula One testing will return to Jerez in December.
