Trulli hoping for change of luck

The Toyota driver is enduring a miserable season so far, having failed to scored a point in his seven Grand Prix starts. At the Monaco Grand Prix, Trulli retired while looking set for a third place finish.

Toyota introduced their revised TF106B car in the Monte Carlo race, but both Trulli and teammate Ralf Schumacher said the streets of the principality were not the best place to judge the performance of the car.

Trulli believes Silverstone will offer them a better chance to shine.

"Monaco was not the right place to judge the TF106B but the car behaved well in the race," said Trulli. "It has also showed promise during testing so I'm confident the car is a step forward but we can't yet say how much.

"We'll head to Silverstone hoping for a stronger weekend. After my difficult run this year I'm ready for a change of luck."

Schumacher added: "It was difficult to assess the TF106B around the twisty Monaco circuit. But we should have a clearer picture at Silverstone and I'm sure we will have better results."
