Raikkonen Fastest in Practice 4 - Hungary

Raikkonen, who will be on track early in qualifying because of his retirement from the last race in Germany, finished with a time of 1:20.203, the fastest of the weekend so far, to put him 0.314 seconds ahead of Montoya.

World Champion Michael Schumacher, who won his 12th Grand Prix of the season here last year, came closest to the McLarens with a time 0.570 seconds back in third as temperatures rose to 33 degrees in the strong sunshine.

Schumacher's brother Ralf, in the lead Toyota, finished fourth fastest as he split the two Ferrari cars with Rubens Barrichello an encouraging fifth fastest for the World Champion team.

Giancarlo Fisichella was the fastest Renault on track but finished just more than one second slower than the lead McLaren, which ran without its West livery, as the two prepare to go head to head for the constructors' title.

Fisichella's teammate Fernando Alonso, who became the youngest ever Grand Prix winner here two years ago, could only manage the eighth fastest time behind seventh-placed Jenson Button, of BAR-Honda.

Button's teammate Takuma Sato finished ninth fastest and Mark Webber completed the top ten as he finished just ahead of teammate Nick Heidfeld as Williams had an encouraging session.

Tiago Monteiro went off track after 15 minutes of the session when he made a mistake at turn two then Trulli parked at the side of the track to end his session when his Toyota failed.

Raikkonen and Montoya traded times at the top while and with 15 minutes to go Raikkonen was ahead with a lead of one second on closest non-McLaren rival Barrichello as Christijan Albers went off track at turn 13.
