Silverstone Day 3: Montoya fastest

It was an extremely blustery day in Northamptonshire, with the session once being stopped for a spectator's hat that had blown onto the track.

"It was tough to drive in that wind, especially through Bridge," said Jenson Button. "The car would just get taken by the wind from the side. It was a positive day though, and nice to have some other Bridgestone runners to compare with for once."

His BAR team-mate had a "typical BAR day" involving a breakdown, but was pleased with the new rear wing, which should be used at the next race in Germany.

Both Montoya and Barrichello completed long stints without problems, whilst Michael Schumacher concentrated exclusively on setups for the Silverstone GP in July.
