Belgian GP weather: Will it or won't it?
Formula 1 teams head to Spa-Francorchamps for the Belgian Grand Prix this weekend facing a completely different set of conditions they encountered at the hot, dry and twisty Hungaroring two weeks ago
Showers are forecast for the region right through the Grand Prix, but with Spa situated in the Ardennes, the area's notoriously fickle weather can mean rain falling on one part of the track while it remains bone dry in other areas.
Temperatures are expected to rise on Saturday, but 'will it, won't it?' may still be the words on team managers' lips right through qualifying as rain could hit the track at any time during the hour-long session. You never know, we may yet see a few surprise - and surprised - faces at the sharp end of the grid come Saturday afternoon.
And on Sunday, with temperatures dipping back down, it will again be a bit of a lottery as to whether the expected showers fall during the race. Watch the clouds and see what happens...
