Autosport F1 Podcast: Anthoine Hubert tribute and Belgian GP review

After a Belgian Grand Prix weekend where the Formula 1 race was utterly overshadowed by death of Anthoine Hubert, The Autosport Podcast pays tribute to the late Renault protege

Jack Benyon shares his memories of getting to know Hubert while covering his run to the 2018 GP3 title and his impressive start to life in Formula 2 this year, and explains what made him such a special person and where his career might have taken him.

The Belgian GP itself is also discussed by Edd Straw, Scott Mitchell and Jake Boxall-Legge, with particular focus on how Ferrari finally managed to get the job done in a race and why Charles Leclerc had such a margin over team-mate Sebastian Vettel.

The dramatic start crash between Max Verstappen and Kimi Raikkonen and other race events such as McLaren's failures right at the beginning and right at the end, and Alex Albon's fraught dice with Sergio Perez are evaluated too.

The Autosport Podcast, released every Monday and Thursday, is available to subscribe to free via iTunes, Spotify and other podcast suppliers - simply search for 'Autosport'.
