World champ says media is fuelling Montoya 'feud'
Ferrari's Michael Schumacher says he will not be drawn into a war of words with rookie sensation Juan Pablo Montoya
The world champion insists he will do his talking on the track and said that the Williams-BMW newcomer had already proved he is "a good driver".
Schumacher claimed the media were trying to stoke up rivalry between the duo to make headlines.
After being forced off the track in Austria by Montoya, Schumacher said he would be having words with the Colombian over his rough-house racing. Later, however, he said he would watch a video of the incident before commenting - and after seeing it decided Montoya's actions had been entirely fair.
"As far as I can see, the media is trying to build up a rivalry between us two, but a war of words is not something I like," said Schumacher. "I prefer to fight on the track.
"Furthermore," he added, "I would say that Montoya is a good driver and he has proved that already several times."
