Grosjean asks Haas to check "Everything is ok, I suddenly lost the front end".
Hamilton's first lap puts him third, so it's Mercedes-Ferrari-Mercedes-Ferrari at the front now.
Ericsson slots in behind Leclerc in fifth as we get a bit more action now.
Leclerc and Gasly, two drivers who will be stepping up to top teams next year, go fourth and fifth.
Bottas winds one up and goes quickest with a 1m33.809s.
1 Vettel, 2 Bottas, 3 Raikkonen, 4 Hartley, 5 Alonso, 6 Sirotkin.
Hartley slots into fourth of the seven drivers to have set times so far in this session.

Vettel makes it a Ferrari 1-2, going fastest with a 1m33.8s.
Raikkonen moves more than two seconds clear of those early laps with a 1m35.0s on new hypersofts.
Stroll goes third, sandwiching Alonso between two Williams cars.
Alonso uses whatever "scenario seven" is to put the first time on the board, 1m37.713s.
Alonso asks if "scenario seven" is OK - he's told it's fine, and "we're not doing any damage, don't worry".
Six cars head straight out: Alonso, Leclerc, Verstappen, Hartley, Ericsson, Magnussen.
All eyes will be on Ferrari this morning, to see if the red cars have turned around another troubled Friday. The team has been superb at getting things right when it counts for most of 2018, although things have gone awry a little of late. Based on yesterday's running, it needs another big turnaround to get on terms with Mercedes here.
