Bottas goes quickest with a 1m24.142s, as Hamilton seems to be doing a second warm-up lap.
All and sundry out on the circuit, except for Sainz. The big hitters have decided to brave it on mediums.
Eliminated in Q1: Ricciardo, Latifi, Giovinazzi, Raikkonen, Mazepin
Mick Schumacher also escaped the drop, dragging the Haas into P14 in that session!
Sainz improves too - and that puts Ricciardo into the drop zone!
Vettel improves and gets out of the drop zone, dropping Latifi into the bottom five!
Giovinazzi improved to knock Sainz back into the drop zone, as Gasly now goes second.
Vettel's in a spot of bother too, sitting P17, and hasn't been able to improve yet.
Perez now goes fourth as Verstappen goes quickest with a 1m25.033s, putting Schumacher into the bottom five.
Tsunoda and Stroll get out of the bottom five places, shoving Perez into the danger zone.
Verstappen was told that "rain appears to be dissipating", which means the track will continue to evolve.
Schumacher goes P13, meaning Tsunoda, Stroll and Giovinazzi move into the drop zone.
Alonso now goes up to P2, as Alpine team-mate Ocon moves out of the drop zone to go P7.
Gasly moves up to P1, setting a 1m25.486s to shuffle Leclerc down a spot, after the Ferrari driver had just gone quickest.
Sainz is struggling to get a lap in, and currently sits in the drop zone with Ocon, Raikkonen, Schumacher and Mazepin.
Russell had dropped into the relegation zone, but now moves up to sixth fastest.
Leclerc finally posts a lap to go fifth fastest, as Latifi goes P7.
Verstappen goes back up to third, as Alonso goes fourth to shuffle Hamilton down to fifth.
Bottas now does a 1m25.913s to go fastest, as Norris gets second with a 1m26.010s.
It's a 1m26.520s for Hamilton now, who goes fastest, as Gasly goes second.
Neither Ferrari has yet logged a time, as they've had laps deleted for track limits.
Verstappen atones from his earlier spin with a 1m26.692s to go fastest.
Bottas now gets into second with a 1m27.173s, as Ricciardo goes up to third.
Norris does a 1m28.079s to go top, but Russell eclipses that with a 1m28.047s.
Verstappen has also endured a spin, meaning he only logs a 1m44.530s.
Gasly does a 1m29.499s to go top, as Russell goes P3, behind Latifi.
Sainz spins at Turn 1, as Hamilton has been off-track a couple of times in the early phase of the lap.
"Rain now expected in three minutes," according to Ricciardo's engineer.
Everyone's on track now. "Be careful of track limits, we just need a nice clean lap," Hamilton is told.
