Here's Russell with a run on Ocon now, gets DRS down the inside of turn 4, and clears the Renault driver for second!
We've got 15 laps remaining - can Russell close Ocon and Perez down?
Magnussen has been shown the black and white flag for track limits at Turn 8. He's already lost a place to Raikkonen so not a good restart for the Dane who is now in 15th.
Russell's got DRS on Stroll, he stuffs it down the inside and makes it into third! He's really not hanging around is he?
Russell! Fantastic move on Bottas, around the outside of turn six to claim fourth! Now, Stroll's next up.
Perez has scampered off into the distance here, as Bottas really seems to be holding Russell up at this point.
Albon makes a great restart as he gets ahead of Gasly at Turn 1 and has Kvyat directly ahead of him now.
Yipes, Stroll almost creamed into the back of Ocon. But here we go!
The Safety Car is coming in this lap. Here. We. Go.
The safety car will come in at the end of the lap.
So amid the stack-up, Russell had some of Bottas' tyres on. Bottas had to put his hards back on, and Russell had to stop twice. He's got to get his elbows out now.
To quickly recap on the Aitken incident which caused this Safety Car, the Williams driver went wide out of the final corner and spun off, clipping his front wing against the barrier. Aitken is still in this race in 17th place.
Mercedes has just endured a nightmarish stop, and handed the lead to Sergio Perez! Absolutely crazy scenes down at the Mercedes pit box.
A disastrous stop for Bottas - and he's lost places to Perez, Ocon and Stroll!
The Mercedes duo pits, and Bottas gets a very slow stop as his left front won't go on!
The Virtual Safety Car has turned into a full Safety Car in order to recover Aitken's front wing which has been left on the track after his incident.
Virtual Safety Car again! Aitken has lost his front wing!
Bottas gets the fastest lap now, a 56.563s as he's got within 5s of Russell.
That's a really unfortunate retirement from Latifi who had been leading the clutch of Williams, Haas and Alfa Romeo drivers. OK, his usual team-mate Russell is in the Mercedes so not in this group, but it was turning into a very good race for the rookie.
Perez steams past Ocon, and rises up to third place! A very nice move around the outside at turn 4.
Vettel also pitted under the VSC but he had a painfully slow stop with a sticky left front tyre. That's dropped him to 12th and well off the pack ahead.
Perez clears Stroll for fourth, and he's now going after Ocon - who's up into third after Sainz and Ricciardo stopped at a somewhat inopportune time.
But Sainz and Ricciardo are too late with their stops, catching the pitlane as the VSC ends.
That was a quick Virtual Safety Car period as Latifi's car is recovered and pushed behind the barriers. Back to green again.
Latifi has pulled off the track at the exit of Turn 8 on the inside of the track. That has triggered a Virtual Safety Car.
Both AlphaTauris have made second stops, Kvyat releasing fourth to Ricciardo.
Albon, with fresh hards on his Red Bull, dives up the inside of Norris at Turn 1 to take ninth place. That puts him behind Perez again but is 8.1s off the Mexican.
Bottas gets the same message about track rod overload, so the Mercedes duo will have to take a little bit less out of the cars at the top of the track. Or a man called Rod at the track is working too hard.
Gasly pits for the second time in this race, coming in from sixth place, and returns to the action in 12th.
"We're getting track rod overload," Russell's told, and is asked to be a little easier with the kerbs. The gap to Bottas is now 8.4s.
Perez did indeed stop again, emerging in P9. Sainz is back up to third, with Kvyat fourth.
Albon, who has just pitted for the first time in this race and comes out in P11, is shown the black and white flag for exceeding track limits at Turn 8. He'll be on the edge of risking a penalty for the rest of the race if he does it again.
Bottas now pits, and also takes the hard tyre - relinquishing the lead to Russell.
Well, Russell's just done a 56.644s, so that's probably okay.
"No power," Russell reports. "HPP default 3-5", he's told. It seems okay for now...
