Leclerc crosses the line and we could be about to see the first proper effort of the day! Or, we could again be disappointed as he bails to the pits at the end of the tour.
Boo! No timed efforts to speak of, again as all three pit. Leclerc heads straight back out again, so maybe this time!
We have drivers out on track again! Sargeant, Leclerc and Albon are the latest to explore the conditions!
We're sorry we can't bring you any more action. Almost quarter of the way through and we've had a total of nine laps completed by a combined eight drivers. No timed efforts as yet, however!
On a complete side-note, have you noticed our new timing screen? Very snazzy!
And the track once again falls silent as Sainz immediately returns to the pits.
After a quick checkover, Sainz returns to the track. Only he and Gasly have completed more than a single lap so far.
Off goes Hulkenberg into the gravel at Turn 10, as Shwartzman, Sainz and Zhou all join the party.
Shwartzman is in for Bottas for FP1.
As Magnussen pits, Hulkenberg exits the pits in the second Haas, and Gasly continues for possibly a timed effort.
All three drivers have been on wets so far.
As we say that, Magnussen and Gasly leave the pits. Lots of spray in evidence and Gasly has already had to save a wobble possibly caused by a cross-wind.
Some engines are beginning to fire up, but with drivers everywhere from the pitwall to the cockpit, don't expect many laptimes anytime soon.
And there's a glut of drivers all heading out onto the track - is what we would like to say, but that's far from the case.
Green lights and we are go for FP1!
T-1 minute and it seems quite quiet in the pits, with few drivers in the cockpits already.
Rather oddly, given it is currently raining, the official risk of rain for FP1 - which begins in three minutes - is only 80%.
Conditions are now officially wet - although one glance at the track surface would have made it clear that this has been the case for some time already!
In just 10 minutes, we'll get some answers as to who will chance the weather and just how bad it is on the track.
But as amusing as the weather is, it does beg the question as to how much on-track action will be seen across the coming one-hour session.
However, with more rain predicted for Saturday, there may be no option but to brave the conditions.
The scenes in the Zandvoort are quite entertaining right now, with people cowering in the pitlane to avoid the worst of the gusting wind.
Liberty Media has also confirmed it will sell an $825million stake in F1 in order to fund its acquisition of MotoGP.
Top of the list is Alpine confirming its 2025 line-up with Jack Doohan joining Pierre Gasly on its roster.

Before we get into things for the weekend, let's take a look back at the headlines from the early phases.
Conditions at the moment are shown as dry on the FIA timing screens, but the track surface remains damp due to recent rainfall.
Good morning and welcome to a very windy Zandvoort for FP1 at the Dutch Grand Prix.
