Lap 30
"Why have we boxed?" Leclerc asks. "We're on Plan B," comes the response, but Leclerc counters that his tyres were fine. He wanted the one-stop here - Plan C, apparently.
Lap 31
Russell is 2.4s clear of Verstappen, while Antonelli is another 4.6s back - he's closing in once again.
Alonso is being told to be gentle in a few of the chicanes, and responds curtly. "We are racing, not testing," the Spaniard says - he's currently 10th.
Lap 32
Norris sets a fastest lap on these mediums, he's the only driver on them at the moment.
Russell, meanwhile, is now 2.9s ahead of Verstappen, who's dropping back.
Lap 33
Bearman has a moment at Turn 8, which means he loses time to Hadjar.
Ocon, Sainz, Tsunoda, Bortoleto, Lawson, and Gasly are yet to pit - presumably aiming for one-stops. Albon also appears to be on the one-stop strategy.
Lap 34
Russell is almost 4s ahead of Verstappen now, and Antonelli is 2.9s behind. For Mercedes, which appears to have the pace advantage towards the end of a stint, it might be prudent to try to undercut with the Italian when the next stops come around.
Piastri is now just 2s behind Antonelli, for his part, as Norris is slowly closing - trying not to burn through his mediums.
Lap 35
Big DRS train behind Lawson - Hulkenberg, Gasly, Colapinto, Hadjar and Bearman are all in lockstep, waiting for the Kiwi to pit.
Gasly is asked to let Colapinto through by Alpine, as the Argentine has already stopped.
Lap 36
"I'm nowhere in this race mate, no idea what's happened," Hamilton says. "Pace is good, despite the damage," Riccardo Adami responds.
Antonelli's almost back in Verstappen's DRS range now, as he's angling to make another pass on the world champion.
Lap 37
Verstappen pits again, so that's ruined that fight with Antonelli. He's moved into a gap ahead of Hamilton.
Lap 38
Antonelli responds to Verstappen and gets the hard tyres - how was his in-lap? Side by side on the exit, but Verstappen's ahead for now!
Lap 39
"Key question is whether we can get to the end without graining," Piastri hears from Tom Stallard. The Australian reports that he's already got a band of graining appearing.
Mercedes will presumably pit Russell soon, just to cover off the Verstappen threat.
Lap 40
It's Russell from Piastri, as it stands. Norris is closing up on the two cars ahead, as Leclerc's been dropped a little bit here. Verstappen and Antonelli are fifth and sixth after conducting their second stops.
Lap 41
Verstappen isn't going much faster than Russell, so Mercedes is biding its time to extend the stint.
Meanwhile, Gasly is now heading the DRS train at the back.
Lap 42
Russell's going to make his second stop before he reaches the traffic at the back. He comes out behind Leclerc, which hands the lead to Piastri.
Verstappen is 4s behind the Briton, as he returns to the circuit.
Lap 43
Norris has been asked to hit the gas, as he's just 2.9s behind Piastri - he's not going to one-stop here.
Slightly slow stop for Russell there, but he had plenty of gap over Verstappen to be safe.
Lap 44
Piastri says there's degradation but no graining, so his tyres are just starting to run out of juice.
Bortoleto's got a huge train behind him now, as he continues to try to make this one-stopper work. Colapinto, Hadjar, Bearman, Stroll, and Gasly are in this mix, as Albon's on the tail of it. Stroll gives Gasly short shrift at Turn 14.
Lap 45
Piastri pits, which unleashes Norris into the lead. He comes out behind Antonelli. Hamilton also makes his second stop, and just about comes out ahead of Alonso.
Lap 47
Norris is going to stop at the end of this lap, which will bring him out presumably behind Piastri. That puts Leclerc into the lead.
Big gap between Piastri and Hamilton, pretty much the entire back half of the circuit, so Norris has plenty of space.
Lap 48
There's a yellow flag at the hairpin, as Albon pulls out of the race. He stops at the marshal's post - so the yellow is quickly lifted.
Hulkenberg gets a run on Tsunoda, and rounds the Red Bull around the outside. Tsunoda hasn't stopped yet.
Lap 49
10 second penalty for Stroll for shoving Gasly off earlier on. Meanwhile, Russell is just 1.6s behind Leclerc at the head of the field
Lap 50
Bortoleto makes his first stop of the race, and will come out towards the rear of the field - ahead of Lawson.
Albon's power unit issue, which he was informed of earlier in this race, appeared to be terminal - the replay shows his car gurgling like the proverbial drain.
Lap 51
"Leclerc's pace is dropping off, this is a straight fight between you, Verstappen, and Antonelli," Piastri is told. The Australian is almost in DRS reach of Antonelli, who in turn is within 2s of Verstappen.
Lap 52
"What are we waiting for to stop," Leclerc asks. "We don't want to do too many laps on the medium," he hears back, but says "for me the medium is a good tyre".
Leclerc is still leading, but has to come in again.
Lap 53
Ocon and Sainz in eighth and ninth are still yet to stop. Tsunoda and Gasly are also running very long into this race.
Russell's also lost a bit of time, as Verstappen is catching slightly - but Antonelli is catching him and would very much like DRS as Piastri's on him like a rash.
Leclerc stops from the lead, reinstating Russell's position at the top of the field.
Lap 54
Our top four are all within five seconds now. Is Russell biding his time, or genuinely struggling? Antonelli, meanwhile, is just keeping Piastri at bay as the slipstream from Verstappen is just about helping.
Hulkenberg is now on Sainz's tail - more points for Sauber coming? He's 10th at the moment.
Lap 55
Antonelli just about evades Piastri's efforts to pass, which is helping Verstappen here. Norris is homing in on both of them, while Leclerc is sixth and 12s behind Norris now.
Lap 56
Antonelli gets a dose of DRS off the lapped Hadjar to ensure he's safe from Piastri on this tour.
Verstappen, meanwhile, is now starting to turn the screw on Russell.
Lap 57
Just 1.6s between Verstappen and Russell at the start of the lap, as the two try to work their way through traffic. Verstappen gets the better run of it, and he's now just 1.2s behind by the time they cross the line again!
Lap 58
Antonelli's having a good run through the traffic to evade Piastri, as Russell's picked up the pace a bit to add a few tenths back to his lead. Norris is also in the hunt here, as he gets DRS off Colapinto to close in on Piastri.
Lap 59
Ocon was not being particularly helpful to either McLaren, as he got in the way of Piastri at Turn 6. Ocon's long stint has brought him up to 10th, as Sainz now passes Colapinto for 11th. Everyone has registered a stop now.
Lap 60
10 to go! Russell's got 2s over Verstappen now. Antonelli is 1.5s behind, Piastri 1.6s behind him, and Norris with DRS on his team-mate.
Hulkenberg's got Alonso right on his tail in the battle for eighth, while Ocon holds the final point - but Sainz is looking to take it off him.
Lap 61
Russell's turning up the wick now, and opens up the gap to 2.3s to Verstappen.
Norris is still all over Piastri like a rash, but can't find a way past this time.
"If there was a safety car, would you take a free stop for a soft?" Norris is asked. "Yep!" comes the assertive response.
Lap 62
Norris thinks about a move on Piastri, but just takes a little bit of margin with his team-mate.
Lap 63
Piastri vs Norris, again. Norris is unable to make the pass, and he might have exhausted his opportunities as Piastri should get DRS off Antonelli now - the Mercedes driver is falling back off Verstappen's tail.
Alonso clears Hulkenberg for eighth.
Lap 64
Russell put a fastest lap in last time around, building a 2.6s gap to Verstappen now. Antonelli's going to come under scrutiny from Piastri now, as he's really struggling for pace at this point.
Lap 65
Piastri has a run at Antonelli with DRS, but can't quite find a path through. The Italian is riding on his mirrors now, with two bright orange cars sat in his wake.
Ocon's dropped Sainz for now, so he looks to hang onto that final point for the last five laps.
Lap 67
It's happened! The McLarens have come to blows!
Lap 67
Norris caught Piastri by surprise at the Turn 10 hairpin, and the two went side by side along the back straight. Piastri got later on the brakes through the chicane, Norris tried to retaliate and tries to get into a space along the start-finish straight, but hits Piastri's rear as the gap closes on the inside.
Norris immediately takes blame for that one, as he's now out of the race.
Lap 69
It's the penultimate lap, and we're behind the safety car. Piastri has come out behind the lapped runners.
Meanwhile, Russell and Verstappen are having a moment - Russell tries to warm up his brakes, slows down, and Verstappen - who's jockeying behind, briefly goes past Russell.
"Just don't fall for the gamesmanship," Verstappen is told, as the two drivers immediately complain on the radio.
Lap 70
This will end behind the safety car, and the chequered flag will fly on George Russell - unless anything wild happens in this final straight...
