Information
Albon's in the car - it's still on the jacks, but he might bag a few install laps before the session's over.
Leclerc with a very strong lap for fourth there - he lost about fourth-tenths in the final sector but more-or-less matched Hamilton over the first two sectors.
Vettel goes P5 too, despite a slightly wild lap.
Norris shuffles his way up to P4, with a 1m26.8s. Just under half a sec from Hamilton, so not too shabby...
It's a 1m26.588s for Verstappen, just a shade off of Bottas.
Verstappen logs the fastest first sector so far...

It's a 1m26.332s for Hamilton, as the Merc duo experiment with cooldown laps.
Stroll does, however, go P4 on the next tilt at a lap, going 0.05s clear of Hulkenberg - who's just complained about "the knobs" on the headrest.
Stroll had a wiggle through the Loop on the previous run. It's a corner named...well, because it's a Loop.
Jo Bauer was overseeing the Albon repairs, but it doesn't look like the car's going to appear any time soon.

That's a 1m26.526s from Bottas, then, to go top.
That's more like it, isn't it? Hulkenberg briefly goes P3, before Verstappen shuffles him down to fourth.
Verstappen begins a lap with a solid sector one, as a Red Bull finally appears.
Stroll, meanwhile, goes P6 on his opening run. Hulkenberg was faster in the final sector, so he's getting back up to speed.
Gasly pops up to P3 with a 1m27.432s, while Hulkenberg goes P9 on his first run.
Replay of Bottas sawing at the wheel into turn 2 - he went faster than Hamilton in sector 2 on that run, but couldn't keep it going into the last few corners.
Ocon then goes up to P4, meaning the Renaults now sandwich the McLarens.
The Renaults are up to sixth and seventh, but are both over a second away from Hamilton's headline time.

The white splodge midway through Club is a smattering of concrete dust to clean up some gearbox fluid left by Olli Caldwell's Trident in the F3 race, having had the rear half of his car swiped off by Lukas Dunner.

In comes Lewis Hamilton to post a 1m26.825s, and to go top.
Leclerc was quicker than Bottas in sector 1, but then lost half a second over the rest of the lap.

An electrical problem for Albon's car, then.

A flurry of activity now descends upon the track - Bottas, Leclerc, Ocon, Hamilton and Giovinazzi all break their FP3 ducks.

Sainz does a 1m28.539s to go top. Still down on yesterday's benchmarks, however.
It was so hot yesterday that my Cornetto melted all over me - thankfully, at 19 degrees C today, future ice cream-based treats should be more structurally sound.
Raikkonen and Sainz are now on the road, doing a bit of a recon to compare the circuit to yesterday.

It's our first lap of the morning, then - Vettel does a 1m29.562s.
The track is clear once more, save for Sebastian Vettel - who has endured a mirror-crack's worth of bad luck this weekend.
Part-time weather radar (and Grand Prix editor) Alex Kalinauckas tells us there's a 60% risk of rain in this session. Whether the weather will endeavour to turn up is an unknown - this is Britain, after all.
Red Bull's got Albon's car back together after his shunt yesterday - he still bagged P2 in FP2 yesterday, so it's not all bad...

Norris and Grosjean hit the road first, with Gasly also now on track. Probably some pesky installappery, before we get too excited.

Anyway, back to the task at hand - FP3. We're up and running now.
It's just not as fun as saying "Club is named after the triple-layer sandwich", is it? It's probably named because...it's near a club or something, I don't know.
Last year, I took a little bit of flak for my "alternative" corner history names. So, we'll explain some of them truthfully. Copse is named after a nearby copse. Farm is named after a nearby farm.
Mercedes was a little bit out-for-the-count yesterday, caught out by the wind and the heat. So, to beat the Mercs, you need a stiff breeze and a few dozen radiators trackside - how's that for tech insight?
