Grosjean improves to a 1m22.617s and jumps to second ahead of Ricciardo, who also sets a personal best but is 0.3s slower than the Haas.
Ricciardo jumps into second on a 1m23.364s.
Hamilton's had a lap time disallowed for track limits at Turn 14, but not his new benchmark. It was the first flying lap. So it makes no difference. Just a bit of housekeeping. Carry on.
Vettel's brought the Ferrari back into the pits and his car is wheeled into the garage.

Another stunning morning in Spain. Last week's snow and rain seems an age ago. (LAT Images)
Ricciardo starts a flying lap in the Red Bull, which has medium tyres fitted. Just behind him on track is the soft-shod Haas of Grosjean.
Stopwatch
Hamilton takes 1.5s off his best next time by, with a 1m21.552s.

Grosjean on the board with a 1m24.231s. He's second, 1.1s behind Hamilton.
No surprise to see most of the cars going out sporting flo-viz, aero rigs and additional cameras for this early running. Until the track and ambient temperatures start to approach reasonable levels, they aren't going to learn much about tyre behaviour so they might as well use this time for aero correlation and other systems checks.
Hartley and Grosjean out there again.
Stopwatch
And brief pacesetter. Hamilton shunts Sainz down to P2 with a 1m23.081s on medium tyres.
Sainz sets the fastest first sector so far but pits at the end of the lap in the Renault. Six laps on the board for the morning's early pacesetter.
Hartley's back in the pits in the Toro Rosso. Hamilton's on track after rolling through the pitlane.
Stopwatch
Slower first sector but two bests over the rest of the lap put Sainz on a 1m25.486s.
Hartley completes some burnouts down the pitlane, pulls over to the right-hand side and performs a practice start. He's on track again in the Toro Rosso.
Sainz slower next time through. Hamilton has brought his Mercedes into the pitlane.

Stopwatch
Sainz is a bit quicker time by on soft tyres, setting a 1m28.740s. Hamilton gets off the mark with a 1m42.914s on mediums.

It wouldn't be a morning of testing without some aero paint. Spot the cameras and sensors the Toro Rosso is sporting as well at the moment. (Sutton Images)
A quick weather check: it's slightly warmer than it was this time yesterday. Track temperature is 20.5C and ambient is 8.1C.
Stopwatch
Sainz cracks on, though, and kicks off Wednesday properly (well, 'properly') with a 1m30.896s.
Ricciardo brings his Red Bull back immediately, ditto Leclerc in the Sauber. Hamilton stays out for a second lap in the Mercedes, but Stroll's back in.
Less than 10 minutes in and the only car we haven't seen is the Ferrari.

Leclerc (Sauber) and Hamilton (Mercedes) make it nine drivers to head for installation laps already. Stroll and Sainz have continued for a second lap on their initial excursions.
Ricciardo completes a practice start at the end of the pitlane and he too hits the track in the Red Bull. Hopefully he's feeling better today.
Sainz brings the Renault out for the first time this morning. We saw the Spaniard in the car yesterday, when Renault was running its second chassis for the first time.
The track's not silent though, because Stroll takes his Williams for a str-... for its first lap of the day.
Ocon's brought the Force India back into the pits, with Alonso also returning promptly.
Alonso has appeared in the McLaren. Big day for the team after losing mileage (again) yesterday. Racing boss Eric Boullier was in pretty good spirits though – happier times in general for McLaren, despite an interrupted pre-season so far.
Ocon, with what looked like supersofts fitted, continues for a second lap. But Grosjean's back in the pitlane in the Haas – as is Hartley in the Toro Rosso.
Hartley brings the Toro Rosso into the fray for the first time since early yesterday afternoon, joining the Force India and Haas for an early installation lap.
Cars already, what a sight. Ocon and Grosjean head out immediately.
Green flag
Green flag. Let day two commence!
The number of people in the grandstand on the main straight is already into double figures. Hardy souls. At least it's not snowing though.
They'll have plenty of running today – there's no lunchbreak, we're running through to 6pm local time.
There are plenty of engine noises coming from the pitlane below us already. The teams must be keen to get going.
It's a chillier start to the morning, ambient temperature is 7.6C, but the track temperature (18.3C) bodes well for some early running. Yesterday some teams (especially Mercedes) were keen to get down to business after last week's lost mileage.
