Autosport understands some teams are considering heading out onto the track when the red flag is lifted as, while meaningful running will not be possible, it would create a unique photo opportunity.
That Pirelli tweet is the official line from race control, by the way. Can you call it race control at a test?
An update from the circuit itself - the start of any action will be delayed until the helicopter is able to take off.
We've ticked past our usual start time of 9am in Spain, but unsurprisingly there is no green light in the pits, and the clock hasn't started counting down on the timing screens.
There are marshals here, but for now their main activity is taking pictures and throwing snowballs on the start/finish straight. If they do get sent to their posts any time soon, spare a thought for them!

We say 'live coverage', but it remains to be seen just how much - if any - running we'll get. Barcelona turned into a winter wonderland overnight, and the snow is getting heavier...
