Tyre choices on track:

C2: Giovinazzi, Norris, Albon
C3: Gasly, Leclerc, Magnussen
Norris is out on track now, on the C2 tyre.

He pits for a practice start.
On Bottas's quick lap there he got great, lively turn in to the chicane but the rear continued to slide when he tried to change direction. He struggled to control the rotation.
Gasly smashes in a 1m19.202s on his first flying lap on – you guessed it – the C3s. Has he used any other tyres today? The answer, is no.
Bottas had a cool down lap, set a personal best first sector and then fluffed the middle part of the lap. But he still goes quicker, a 1m18.356s.
Bottas's heavy weaving and cannoning off the final corner worked! He improves to a 1m18.380s. That's an excellent lap for the second hardest tyre in the Pirelli range.
Bottas prepares the C2s with some extensive weaving. He cannons off the final turn to start his lap.
Stroll has repeated his near-stop at the entry to Turn 1, so it's intentional and could be linked to the sensor behind the front-left wheel.
Albon's first proper lap on the C2s is a 1m25.865s. Toro Rosso will need to pick up the pace compared to some of the lap times we've seen on that tyre over a long run.
Gasly pits after a strong run on the C2s. As long as he doesn't make a mistake and crash, this will be a good day for Gasly and Red Bull.
Albon pits after a single lap on the C2s. But then heads straight back out for more practice starts. He did at least two just before lunch.

Perhaps he just really enjoys a car that is able to start properly.
Bottas pits after his first stint in the Mercedes. Hamilton drove the car this morning.
And in today's lapping contest - as fiercely contested as ever - the leaderboard is currently:

Leclerc - 77
Giovinazzi - 69
Gasly - 67
Grosjean - 64
Hamilton - 58
Kubica - 48
Norris - 48
Stroll - 45
Albon - 45
Ricciardo - 34
Magnussen - 7
Bottas - 6
Session topper Alex Albon is out on track, his Toro Rosso getting some much needed running on the C2 tyre.
The Haas looks a handful at the moment, KMag isn't able to improve that time around.
But he doesn't! The personal best in the first sector is not fulfilled by the rest of the lap.
Magnussen had a slower lap, but looks set to improve again on the next.
Bottas sets a 1m20.253s on the C2 tyre.

Handy tip for tyres: The higher the number, the softer the tyre. It's one-five.
Gasly has faded into the 1m22s. His long run on C3s was comparable to Leclerc's this morning, and this looks like another good run.
Leclerc and Bottas also head out to get some laps in. Giovinazzi has pitted.
Gasly has lost a few tenths after his run of three very similar laps. The tyres could be starting to fade here.

Giovinazzi gets a standing start in, exiting the pitlane.
Giovinazzi has pitted from his stint on the C3s. But he's heading back out again.
Incredibly consistent few laps from Gasly:

1m21.390s
1m21.234s
1m21.247s
Gasly sets a 1m21.234s there, so it looks like he's going a bit longer on this set of C3 tyres.
Stroll is on the C3 tyre. He came almost to a stop at the entry to Turn 1, so this time will be nothing to write back to Canada about.
Gasly sets a 1m21.390s there. He looks like he's pushing harder on the next one.
NOISE! Stroll joins the track in the Racing 'we're giving it its full name now' Point.
