Lap one order:

1 Hamilton
2 Rosberg
3 Raikkonen
4 Bottas
5 Grosjean
6 Hulkenberg
7 Maldonado
8 Kvyat
9 Ricciardo
10 Perez
No dramas in the first few corners, Hamilton leads Rosberg, Raikkonen, Bottas, Grosjean and Hulkenberg.
Hamilton eases across to block Rosberg into Turn 1, as the German fends off Raikkonen too.
The Mercedes lead the way through the final chicane and form up on the grid.
Hamilton sends his a team a heartfelt pre-race thank you: "Guys, just wanted to say a big thank for you for all the hard work this weekend putting the car back together."
Massa, Verstappen, Button and the Manors are starting on softs, the rest on super-softs.
Very close now to the grid being cleared and the formation lap beginning.
Dry weather is expected today, but it's pretty cloudy. Tyre wear shouldn't be a worry, a one-stop is widely predicted even though it's the soft and super-soft in use.
LAWRENCE BARRETTO: "Sebastian Vettel can't serve his full five-place grid penalty for his red flag violation in final practice, as he qualified 16th. So he will serve a five-second time penalty in the race, which can be taken either at a pitstop or added to his time at the end of the race."
Ricciardo described Red Bull's qualifying with a graphic metaphor involving sweaty genitals yesterday, concluding "it's just not pretty."
Right down in ninth is the man who won here last year, Daniel Ricciardo.

He thinks Red Bull has now simply got lost and doesn't know what to do to get itself back on the pace, with upgrades not working and more problems than just a poor engine.
So the outcome of all that is a grid like this:

1 Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes)
2 Nico Rosberg (Mercedes)
3 Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari)
4 Valtteri Bottas (Williams)
5 Romain Grosjean (Lotus)
6 Pastor Maldonado (Lotus)
7 Nico Hulkenberg (Force India)
8 Daniil Kvyat (Red Bull)
9 Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull)
10 Sergio Perez (Force India)
11 Carlos Sainz Jr (Toro Rosso)
12 Marcus Ericsson (Sauber)
13 Fernando Alonso (McLaren)
14 Felipe Nasr (Sauber)
15 Felipe Massa (Williams)
16 Roberto Merhi (Manor)
17 Will Steves (Manor)
18 Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari)
19 Max Verstappen (Toro Rosso)
Pitlane: Jenson Button (McLaren)
And finally, Jenson Button starts from the pitlane. He missed qualifying due to Honda problems that ultimately led to an engine change.
Max Verstappen had a double blow too: a five-place grid penalty for hitting Romain Grosjean in Monaco coupled with an engine change that took him beyond his allocation for the year and into penalty territory.

That adds up to a 15-place grid penalty, and as he only qualified 12th he can't go back that far. So he's got a 10s stop/go to take during the race too.
Sebastian Vettel had an engine problem too and then got penalised for passing Roberto Merhi under a red flag in practice. He's ended up 18th.

Felipe Massa has ended up 15th on the grid thanks to a problem with a fixing inside the Williams-Mercedes' wastegate robbing him of power.
This is always one of the most eventful races of the season, and as if the combination of an unusual circuit and a lot of close walls didn't provide enough possibilities for incident and excitement, we have a large number of drivers out of position.
