14 min: Grosjean did not like the balance of his Lotus in that run. Tyre pressures too high apparently.
13 min: Vettel rounds the final corner and he makes it a Red Bull one-two now with a lap of 1m32.428s - 0.638s down on Webber.
13 min: Raikkonen and Hulkenberg also back in the pits now, Pic is again fastest of the backmarkers, narrowly clear of Caterham team-mate van der Garde.
12 min: Yes, Webber takes the benchmark further away with a time of 1m31.790s.
12 min: Grosjean is back in the pits having set the third quickest time during a six-lap run in his Lotus.
12 min: Webber is fastest through the first two sectors and looks set to move this thing forward considerably...
11 min: Webber is going quick again and is fastest of all through the first sector.
11 min: Button also struggling with the same issue as Massa in his McLaren.
11 min: Hamilton completes a better lap and he moves up to second spot with 1m32.749s.
10 min: Rosberg is finally out there and he has just started his first timed lap.
10 min: Massa has a big front-right lock-up at Turn 1 in his Ferrari. Needs a brake-bias adjustment there.
9 min: Kimi Raikkonen is suffering a radio issue on his Lotus.
9 min: Sutil is another man on the move and he is up in third with 1m33.284s.
9 min: Webber takes the top time away with his first timed lap of the session - 1m32.333s.
9 min: Di Resta moves up the order to fourth with 1m33.704s, but only briefly.
8 min: Vettel starts his first timed lap, but Webber is already quickest through the first sector on his first effort at a time.
8 min: Gutierrez is a tenth up on Sauber team-mate Hulkenberg after four laps. They round out the top six at present.
8 min: Ricciardo completes another tour and he moves into fourth place with 1m34.002s.
7 min: Hamilton's opening effort is 1m39.494s but that lap featured a wide run through the first corner. He goes again.
7 min: Raikkonen now fastest for Lotus with a 1m33.537s best. Dumps Button to second by a tenth.
7 min: Vergne moves into fourth spot with a lap of 1m34.045s in the Toro Rosso.
6 min: Alonso is 11th fastest with his first proper flying lap of the weekend.
6 min: Button goes fastest for McLaren with a 1m33.646s.
6 min: Hamilton is already on track and he crosses the line to start a timed lap.
5 min: Alonso back in action in FP2, after electrical issues with his engine in the first session.
5 min: Webber is now on the circuit, leaving Vettel and Rosberg as the last two drivers in the pits.
5 min: Maldonado slots into fifth spot with his opening effort - 1m35.534s.
5 min: Hulkenberg is second, just 0.022s shy of Grosjean's Lotus.
5 min: Ricciardo takes third away from the Finn with a lap of 1m34.817s.
4 min: Bottas moves into third position with a time of 1m35.055s.
4 min: Grosjean immediately leaps to the top with a 1m34.342s.
4 min: Di Resta and Hamilton have joined the racetrack for a run.
2 min: Chilton, Hulkenberg, Gutierrez, Raikkonen, Grosjean, Bianchi, van der Garde all out on track.
2 min: The drivers will tend to work through a run of between six and eight laps straight out of the box here, as Sutil joins the fray.
1 min: Bottas and Ricciardo join the racetrack, followed by Maldonado and Vergne.
0 min: Jules Bianchi is back in the #22 Marussia for FP2, in place of Rodolfo Gonzalez.
Pirelli says teams cannot swap tyres left to right any longer because it causes rubbing with sharp edges on the metal belts, leading to blowouts.
