Lap 54: Webber in 11th place has caught Senna. A battle begins for the final point of the evening.
Lap 54: Di Resta is hurried on by the Force India team, being told that Alonso's tyres are four laps older.
Lap 53: Kovalainen is in 16th place, but Kobayashi and Hulkenberg are catching him at around four seconds per lap.
Lap 53: Vettel is cementing his advantage up front, pulling 3.7 seconds clear of Button.
Lap 53: Kobayashi and then subsequently Hulkenberg set the fastest lap of the race. The German now holds it at 1m51.033s.
Lap 53: Kobayashi rejoined after his front wing change in 17th spot, while Hulkenberg is back out in 18th after his puncture.
Lap 53: Alonso has turned up his pace after some gentle laps from the points leader. He is now edging away from di Resta but well behind Button.
Lap 52: Perez is 12th and still going round with that damaged front wing, ahead of Glock 13th, Pic 14th, de la Rosa 15th and Kovalainen 16th.
Lap 52: Webber is up to 11th, but the incident between himself and Kobayashi is being investigated by the stewards.
Lap 52: So, after all that action, the order behind the leading group still has Massa in eighth with Ricciardo ninth and Senna 10th.
Lap 51: The stewards have decided that no action will be taken following the incident between Senna and Massa earlier in the race.
Lap 51: Hulkenberg also sustained a puncture, as his left rear tyre snagged against Kobayashi's wing. He is also in and back out.
Lap 51: The Sauber drivers gets back out there with a new nose and super soft tyres.
Lap 51: Kobayashi is into the pits to get his front wing changed.
Lap 51: Vettel meanwhile grabs the fastest lap and pulls 2.5 seconds clear of Button.
Lap 51: Senna in 10th has bounced off the wall but is seemingly able to continue.
Lap 50: Webber is up to 11th and Hulkenberg sensed his opportunity and also got through, knocking the Japanese driver's front wing in the process.
Lap 50: Webber now has a go at Kobayashi and makes it through - but the Australian runs all four wheels just over the white line in doing so.
Lap 49: Button must be hoping that leader Vettel runs out of rubber just before the flag, but the pace is even between the pair for now.
Lap 49: Perez makes a move to the inside of Hulkenberg - the pair make contact and Perez sustains front wing damage. They continue.
Lap 49: McLaren predict 12 laps before the time limit is reached, telling Button he is in a "straight fight" with Vettel.
Lap 49: At the back of the pack there is another close battle. Glock in 15th is just ahead of team-mate Pic, with de la Rosa chasing after both of them to make it a three-car fight.
Lap 48: Kobayashi is 11th, some 2.3s back from Senna, but the action is behind him, with Webber, Hulkenberg and Perez still right there.
Lap 48: Ricciardo is ninth and 3.2s back from Massa, but less than one second in front of Senna.
Lap 48: Massa in eighth has now caught up to the back of Grosjean.
Lap 48: Meanwhile, Raikkonen pulls past team-mate Grosjean to take over sixth after orders from the Lotus team.
Lap 47: Alonso is certainly taking it easy at this stage, perhaps looking to make sure he has the rubber to make the finish.
Lap 47: Massa is three seconds behind seventh placed Raikkonen, but faster on the road. Kobayashi in 11th is now under attack from WebberHulkenberg and Perez.
Lap 47: Button responds with the fastest lap of 1m53.060s, with the lead drivers looking to run to the flag on these soft compound tyres.
Lap 46: Senna's engineer tells him over the radio that the incident with Massa is being investigated by the stewards.
Lap 46: Massa gets the job done and passes Ricciardo to move into eighth position.
Lap 46: Glock therefore moves up to 15th spot with Pic 16th and de la Rosa in 17th.
Lap 46: Alonso is now four seconds down on the lead pair, still chased by di Resta.
Lap 46: Kovalainen pits the Caterham and falls to 18th position.
Lap 46: Vettel sets the fastest lap at a 1m53.152s as he pulls 1.9 seconds clear of Button.
Lap 46: Meantime, Ricciardo in eighth now has Massa on his tail and Senna is still in close attendance in 10th.
Lap 45: The incident between Massa and Senna will be investigated by stewards immediately.
Lap 45: Webber is up to 12th, Hulkenberg up to 13th and Perez is through to 14th, after Kovalainen falters. The Finn is now down to 15th spot.
Lap 45: Di Resta is just 0.8 seconds behind Alonso as DRS is switched on again.
Lap 44: So Massa is up to ninth and looking to try and get onto the back of Ricciardo. Senna is 10th and Kobayashi has passed Kovalainen for 11th.
