Lap 25: Hulkenberg reports a struggle with his rear tyres as he looks for a DRS move on Hamilton's McLaren.
Lap 25: Behind the developing battle between Hamilton and Hulkenberg, Maldonado is 6.2s back in eighth spot. Webber is ninth with Ricciardo 10th.
Lap 24: Grosjean pits from 14th place. Including penalties this is his third visit of the day.
Lap 24: Hulkenberg is now closing on Hamilton's McLaren as the pair run sixth and seventh.
Lap 23: Massa is told he needs another 15 laps from the current set of tyres.
Lap 23: Hamilton has fallen 2.4 seconds behind Raikkonen and is again struggling for pace in the McLaren.
Lap 23: So Kovalainen moves up to 13th after Senna's drive-through penalty. Grosjean is now 14th with Vergne 15th, Senna 16th and Glock 17th.
Lap 23: Hamilton tells his team that his front tyres have already gone off, despite being on the harder compound.
Lap 22: Senna is smartly back out onto the circuit in 16th.
Lap 22: Schumacher takes over 12th spot after Glock's stop. Senna comes in to serve his punishment from 13th place.
Lap 22: Massa sets the fastest lap at 1m38.876s, now clocked 9.3s behind leader Vettel.
Lap 22: This could prove to be Massa's best chance to fight for a win, and looking at his pace, one has to imagine that Fernando would have had a strong race, just as he promised he would yesterday.
Lap 22: Button reports that he keeps missing gears but his pace remains good for the moment in fourth place.
Lap 22: Bruno Senna has been handed a drive-through penalty for his part in the lap one chaos.
Lap 21: Ricciardo is 10th with di Resta 11th. Glock pits from 12th and he's the last driver to do so.
Lap 21: So the order behind the leaders changes yet again. Hulkenberg is now seventh with Maldonado eighth and Webber up to ninth.
Lap 21: Massa remains the man to watch at the moment, setting a strong pace on the hard rubber to edge closer to leader Vettel.
Lap 21: Massa, of course free of any Ferrari instruction to the contrary is flying, as he continues to chase Vettel in second place. He's just set a new fastest lap of the race with a 1m38.925s.
Lap 21: Hamilton is now harrying Raikkonen as he senses the increasing opportunity to make points progress on Alonso.
Lap 21: Petrov pits the Caterham for the first time today. He drops towards the rear of the field.
Lap 20: Grosjean has passed Charles Pic and the Lotus drivers takes over 16th place.
Lap 20: It's all over for Perez, with the car stranded in the Turn 11 gravel.
Lap 20: Perez was wide on the grass heading down to the hairpin and failed to hold on to the wobbling Sauber.
Lap 20: Kovalainen held track position in that stop over Vergne. They rejoin in 16th and 19th positions.
Lap 20: Perez tries his move on Hamilton again but this time it doesn't work and he spins into the gravel at the hairpin.
Lap 19: Hamilton might have had a chance to leap Raikkonen in that pitstop phase but replays show he was slow away.
Lap 19: Kovalainen pits from that 10th spot and Vergne is in immediately behind him for a race between the crews.
Lap 19: Raikkonen is fifth, tailed by Hamilton and Perez.
Lap 19: So it's now Vettel leading comfortably from Massa, Kobayashi and Button.
Lap 19: The order is shaking out again with only a few drivers left to pit. Hulkenberg is back to ninth spot with Kovalainen yet to pit in 10th.
Lap 19: Button still has all his gears at the moment, with the team reporting that things look okay from the data back in the garage.
Lap 18: Schumacher also pitted on that lap and far behind him on the road, so did de la Rosa.
Lap 18: Trouble for Button as he reports a problem with the gearbox on his McLaren.
Lap 18: Perez in eighth posts the fastest lap of the race so far - 1m38.983s.
Lap 18: Vettel and Massa pit and the latter resumes ahead of Kobayashi and Button after their delay in traffic.
Lap 18: Button looks for the move on Ricciardo at 130R but that's not going to stick and he remains behind.
Lap 18: Kobayashi makes his trademark move at the hairpin and is past the yet-to-pit Toro Rosso.
Lap 17: Senna rejoins in 19th place after his first stop for tyres this afternoon.
Lap 17: Hulkenberg has passed Kovalainen and moves up into the top 10, as Senna pits from 14th.
Lap 17: Riccardo is yet to stop and now has both Kobyashi and Button right on his tail.
