Lap 45: Raikkonen is pressuring the tyre-conserving Hamilton and is told by the team to get past and go after Alonso.
Lap 44: Perez continues to catch the Force India pair ahead and is setting rapid laptimes at the moment in his Sauber.
Lap 44: Hamilton is told "we can do this" as his team continue to urge the points leader to save tyres to the finish.
Lap 43: Webber is now on the rear of Schumacher's Mercedes. The Red Bull driver is already attacking, but cannot get the move for 11th done immediately.
Lap 42: That puts Maldonado up to fourth, ahead of Hulkenberg and di Resta, with the latter still eying a one-stop strategy.
Lap 42: Schumacher drops down the field to 11th place, just ahead of Mark Webber, so he maintains track position against the Australian.
Lap 42: Alonso now leads by almost four seconds over Hamilton and Raikkonen.
Lap 42: More reliability gremlins strike as Grosjean coasts to a halt. The team reports an alternator problem for the Lotus.
Lap 41: The eight winner streak is still on... @InsideFerrari: "Strategy is still open. We need to think about the Championship"
Lap 41: A big lap from Alonso next time by as he pulls to 1.4 seconds clear of Grosjean... who is stopping in the Lotus!
Lap 41: Further down the order, Webber is flying on his new tyres, posting a new fastest lap of 1m42.717s. He is 13th.
Lap 41: Schumacher maintains fifth spot with Maldonado sixth, Hulkenberg seventh, di Resta eighth, Button ninth and Perez 10th.
Lap 41: Raikkonen is also 0.6 seconds behind Hamilton, with questions still surrounding that pair over moves made in proximity of yellow flags.
Lap 40: Karthikeyan pits again and falls back behind Charles Pic. They are 18th and 19th.
Lap 40: Perez is now on the tail of ninth placed Button, but he cannot get a first attempt at a pass completed.
Lap 40: Grosjean pips Alonso on the latest tour, with the gap just 0.6 seconds at the line.
Lap 39: Webber rejoins just in front of Ricciardo - again. They are fighting for 13th place.
Lap 39: Alonso has pulled a slight gap on Grosjean as the Spaniard continues to bid for an amazing home victory.
Lap 39: Webber also pits now from eighth spot and he drops down the order.
Lap 39: Webber was crowded out at the final corner and lost three positions in as much time as it takes to say it.
Lap 38: Schumacher comes out of the melee in fifth spot with Maldonado up to sixth, Hulkenberg seventh and Webber is down to eighth position in a heartbeat.
Lap 38: Alonso sets the fastest lap at 1m44.141s as stewards begin to look at the moves made under yellows for the recovery of Vettel's car.
Lap 38: Ricciardo finally pits as the legacy of his train is still scrapping into the final corner and over the start-finish line.
Lap 38: Webber passes Ricciardo - who is now struggling badly with his tyres - and takes over sixth position.
Lap 37: Ricciardo is down to fifth and he is holding up a huge train with Schumacher, Webber, Maldonado and Hulkenberg on his gearbox.
Lap 37: Little in it on pace between those top four, with all on the medium compound rubber.
Lap 37: The incident between Massa and Kobayashi is now under investigation by the stewards.
Lap 37: Up front, this race has opened up massively now and anyone out of the top group can win it.
Lap 36: Hamilton is now just 1.6 seconds off the lead, harried by Raikkonen in the second Lotus.
Lap 36: Meanwhile, Alonso leads by just half a second from the charging Grosjean.
Lap 36: Kobayashi is still in the pitlane and at the very least needed a new front wing and possibly has suspension damage.
Lap 36: Vettel throws away his gloves in anger as Adrian Newey holds his head in dismay at the loss of a comfortable victory.
Lap 36: Replays show that Kobayashi tried a move up the inside of Turn 14 against Massa and the pair made reasonable contact.
Lap 36: Marshals move to recover Vettel under yellows, so there are questions over Raikkonen's move past Ricciardo on the run to Turn 17.
Lap 35: Massa rejoins, as Kobayashi makes it into the pitlane for checks.
Lap 35: Disaster for early leader Vettel, who has stopped certainly on the track with a technical problem.
Lap 35: Massa returns to the pits with a right front puncture. He made contact with Kobayashi as they were battling outside the top 10.
