Lap 43: Di Resta is the beneficiary and he climbs to eighth as Alguersuari maintains position after that stop.
Lap 43: Alguersuari pits from seventh place. He should ultimately retain that as his team-mate and Senna pitted one lap ago.
Lap 43: Button takes the best lap as Massa makes his final stop.
Lap 42: Senna is also into the pits some four seconds behind Buemi. Senna takes on soft tyres and will charge after the Swiss driver.

Lap 42: Hamilton responds with the fastest lap of the race at a 1m26.941s.

Lap 41: Hamilton's progress towards the back of Alonso has faded, with the McLaren man on course for a frustrated fourth at this stage.

Lap 38: Schumacher pits his Mercedes for the final time.
Lap 38: He hands that position to Barrichello and will come out very close to Glock.
Lap 37: Kovalainen comes into the pits for the second time from 12th.
Lap 37: Alonso can't defend and Button is clearly through into second.
Lap 37: Barrichello is 13th. He is 9.4s down on Kovalainen but closing in at one second per lap.
Lap 37: Button tries the inside line at Curve Grande and temporarily at least has second into the Roggia chicane.
Lap 37: Outside the top 10, di Resta is 11th with Kovalainen a fine 12th. The Finn is still a long way from points, but there are still more than 15 laps to go.
Lap 36: Vettel meanwhile pits from the lead and easily resumes there after a rapid stop by Red Bull.
