Lap 14: Webber dives into the pits for his first stop, while Massa continues.
Lap 14: Hamilton has resumed in clear air behind Schumacher and this will surely force a reaction from Ferrari to pit Massa.
Lap 14: Barrichello rejoined from his stop in 18th place and is tucked up behind both Lotus drivers.
Lap 13: A quick stop from McLaren and Hamilton is away to try and undercut Massa with a rapid lap on fresh rubber.
Lap 13: Sutil pits the Force India from ninth place this time round.
Lap 13: Hamilton is the first front runner to pit for another set of soft tyres.
Lap 13: Vettel is untroubled up front so far with a 3.5 second lead and an open choice of strategy - likely to be two stops.
Lap 13: Heidfeld rejoins and maintains track position over Barrichello and Kobayashi.
Lap 12: Alguersuari almost runs into the back of team-mate Buemi at Turn 17 but they avoid contact, as Heidfeld, Barrichello and Kobayashi pit together.
Lap 12: Red Bull's downforce level is thought to hurt the tyres more than Ferrari's relative lack of aerodynamic performance.
Lap 12: Alonso is close enough to Webber to use DRS on the Red Bull, but he can't pass easily so far.
Lap 12: It's a quick stop and Maldonado rejoins at the back of the field.
Lap 12: The Toro Rosso drivers are 14th and 15th. Both are tucked up behind Kobayashi, as Maldonado pits from 20th place in the Williams.
Lap 12: Massa has run wide at the Turn 17 hairpin but Hamilton wasn't quite close enough to take advantage on the last lap.
Lap 11: Di Resta is 11th and falling to 2.1s behind Heidfeld, with Barrichello and Kobayashi equally spaced behind him.
Lap 11: Sutil in ninth has dropped to 1.4s behind Schumacher, with Heidfeld 10th - a further 2.2s back.
Lap 10: Hamilton has closed to under a second off Massa as the McLaren team plot how to jump past the Ferrari at the first stops.
Lap 10: Gaps starting to appear behind the top seven drivers. Schumacher is eighth and 2.5s down on team-mate Rosberg.
Lap 10: Di Resta is maintaining 11th place, but Barrichello and Kobayashi are closing him down quickly.
Lap 9: Alonso ran well wide at Turn 20, dropping some of the ground he had gained on Webber under DRS.
Lap 9: Paul di Resta reports on the Force India that he is beginning to lose performance from the rear tyres.
Lap 9: Kobayashi shaped up to try and pass Barrichello going into the final corner, but was not able to make the move work. They remain 12th and 13th.
Lap 9: Alonso has closed on Webber over the last laps and now has a chance to DRS the Red Bull.
Lap 9: Teams will now be looking ahead to the first stops and will want the drivers to run as long as possible on the first set of tyres.
Lap 8: Petrov's pace on the medium tyres in this first stint is horrible. Renault has clearly made the wrong call on strategy. He is now 3.7s behind 15th placed Alguersuari.
Lap 8: Webber is told he is "doing a good job with the tyres" as he circulates 2.7 seconds behind leader Vettel.
Lap 7: Schumacher posts his fastest lap so far and is beginning to close back up to his team-mate. He is eighth with Sutil still less than one second behind him.
Lap 7: Alonso sets the fastest first sector and is still only 3.3 seconds off leader Vettel.
Lap 7: Petrov has lost another position to Alguersuari. They run in 15th and 16th.
Lap 7: That puts Button up to sixth, but over five seconds down on team-mate Hamilton ahead in fifth.
Lap 6: D'Ambrosio was alongside Liuzzi over the start-finish line last time through, but he was unable to make the move stick for 22nd.
Lap 6: But he finally makes his move at Turn 2 with a bold dive up the inside of Rosberg under braking.
Lap 6: Kovalainen, Trulli and Maldonado have all made it past Glock. They run in 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st now.
Lap 6: Rosberg does get good drive out of the tight Turn 10 and Button still can't make it stick into Turn 17 against the straight-line speed.
Lap 5: A clear gap is developing between the top seven and Schumacher. He is 2.1s down on Button, with Sutil and Heidfeld in close attendance.
Lap 5: Button is all over Rosberg now, harrying the Mercedes through Turn 2.
Lap 5: Schumacher drops away a further three-tenths of a second from Rosberg on that lap and has Sutil still on his tail.
