Lap 42: Hamilton will sense this opportunity and finds the door easily open at Turn 6 - taking third.
Lap 42: Kovalainen pits from 16th place in the Lotus. Maldonado pits from 18th and Lotus will claim a few scalps today.
Lap 42: Rosberg is told his fuel is critical for making the flag, backing up earlier calls for the German to save petrol.
Lap 41: Petrov is on team-mate Heidfeld's tail in a battle for 12th, with Perez two seconds behind them in 14th. Barrichello is 15th.
Lap 41: Hamilton locks up heavily at Turn 6 and that may be a costly flat-spot for the McLaren man.

Lap 35: Buemi pits from 17th place and the good qualifying performance is falling away during the race.
