Lap 50: Down the order, Sebastien Buemi has caught Hulkenberg in a battle for 16th place.
Lap 49: It is clean between the McLaren pair though and Hamilton is back in the lead.
Lap 49: Great racing between the McLaren team-mates as they dice side-by-side.
Lap 49: The mother of all media scrums is taking place outside Red Bull, where Vettel just briefly appeared to say a few words.
Lap 49: It's all drama here as Button takes the lead ... Hamilton fights back.
Lap 48: Button is now right with Hamilton as a McLaren scrap develops.
Lap 48: Petrov is eighth and Alonso is now 1.4s behind him in ninth. Kobayashi now runs in tenth position.
Lap 47: Rosberg is now fifth and closing back up to team-mate Schumacher, but the gaps are edging out behind Rosberg with Kubica sixth and Massa seventh.
Lap 47: Conditions remain fine for the slick tyres as the spots of rain burn away quickly on the hot track surface.
Lap 46: Buemi pits from 16th position and rejoins the race, with no chance of points this afternoon.
Lap 46: Schumacher is 8.1 seconds behind Webber in fourth.
Lap 46: Very light drizzle continues to fall at the circuit while the McLaren pair lead by over 30 seconds from Webber, who is now back to full speed
Lap 45: Sebastian Vettel arrives back in the paddock and is refusing interviews. A brief altercation ensues as people try to get close to the German as he is protected by team members.
Lap 45: If McLaren finish one-two, this will be a major step forward in the championship after it all went wrong for the Red Bull pair.
Lap 44: Hamilton is told to save fuel on the radio, which may be a message to take it easy to the finish.
Lap 44: Further spots of rain are falling and we can hear the drivers taking things gingerly going into Turn 1.
Lap 44: Meanwhile, the threat of rain hangs over the Grand Prix and Button is now just a second behind team-mate Hamilton.
Lap 43: Jaime Alguersuari has pitted from 13th place and rejoins.
Lap 43: They change the front wing and tyres on the former leader and he resumes third, still ahead of Schumacher's Mercedes.
Lap 43: Webber is currently third but looks like he must pit ... and he is in.
Lap 43: Hamilton leads the Turkish Grand Prix from team-mate Button.
Lap 42: Replays show Vettel was trying to go up the inside of Webber down to Turn 12 and the pair connect as Vettel pulled to the right.
Lap 41: Spots of rain are falling very lightly at the moment - nothing yet to change the condition of the track.
Lap 41: Vettel climbs out of his stricken Red Bull and there is going to be a lot of talking over this massive clash between the team-mates.
Lap 41: Oh that's unbelievable. Red Bull team boss Christian Horner will be going mad over this incident. They were one-two and have blown it!
Lap 41: Sensational. Vettel is out of the race, Hamilton leads and Webber is behind the McLarens!
Lap 40: Vettel pulls a move and they crash!
Lap 40: Webber is wide as he laps Senna's HRT and Vettel is looking if he can make a move here.
Lap 39: Hulkenberg pits from 17th place and gets that worn set of tyres that he took at the end of the first lap replaced.
Lap 39: Vettel is the man putting on the pressure at the moment as he pushes leader Webber very hard.
Lap 39: Alonso isn't able to get the job done on this occasion and will have to try again.
Lap 38: Alonso in tenth has caught Petrov and now has a go round the outside of the Renault into the switchback section at Turn 12.
Lap 38: Mike Gascoyne of Lotus confirms a double hydraulics failure on the same lap for Trulli and Kovalainen.
Lap 37: This tense lead train continues to circulate as the McLaren and Red Bull teams wait to see if it rains any time soon.
Lap 37: The problem with convective showers is that they can dissipate just as quickly as they build.

But this time it looks like the shower will hit as the first spots of moisture begin to show on Lewis Hamilton's on-board camera.
Lap 36: Problems for Kovalainen as he is wheeled into the garage for repairs.
Lap 36: Kovalainen pits on the same lap from 19th place and it is a very long stop.
Lap 35: A bad lap for Lotus - Jarno Trulli pulls off to the side of the track and retirement after a strong early run in the race.
Lap 35: Michael Schumacher is still fifth but has fallen to over 33 seconds behind the leading four cars.
Lap 35: Glock pits from 21st position in the Virgin and rejoins.
