Lap 32: Barrichello is okay after a big shunt ... oh! He had a rear tyre or wheel problem going up the hill and had no chance to control the Williams.
Lap 32: Webber's sizable lead has gone as he forms up behind the safety car.
Lap 31: Jaime Alguersuari makes a mistake at Sainte Devote and loses several seconds.
Lap 30: Massa is up to fourth in that group with Hamilton, Alonso, Schumacher and Rosberg.
Lap 30: Webber now has a comfortable 10 second lead over team-mate Vettel, who is chased by Kubica.
Lap 29: Kamui Kobayashi has also disappeared, just a couple of laps after team-mate De La Rosa. The Japanese had yet to stop and was running well up the order, but now he is out of the race.
Lap 29: Rosberg's late stop didn't pay off after being slowed by Webber while the leader warmed his hard tyres after his stop.
Lap 29: It's a quick stop from Rosberg and he resumes behind Schumacher and the scrap between Hamilton and the Ferraris.
Lap 29: Lucas Di Grassi has retired from the race at the Portier. We have 19 runners left.
Lap 28: Webber is just 1.3 seconds ahead of Rosberg, with the latter now in the pits.
Lap 28: Trulli pits from 17th and there are problems here as well. The right rear wheel nut is jammed and Senna is up to 17th.
Lap 28: Massa is now fifth, Hamilton sixth, Alonso seventh and Schumacher eighth.
Lap 27: Kobayahsi has clearly made a mistake under pressure from that group and they are all past him.
Lap 27: It's a slow stop for Di Grassi and he rejoins well behind the HRT.
Lap 27: Lucas Di Grassi pits from 18th place in the other Virgin, promoting Senna into that spot.
Lap 27: Kobayahsi is up to fifth after starting on the hard tyres. This is bad news for Massa, Hamilton and Alonso as they will struggle to clear the Sauber.
Lap 26: Rubens Barrichello lost out badly in that rush of stops. Having run as high as sixth following a great start, he's now down in 11th place.
Lap 26: Alonso, eighth, is right with Massa and Hamilton, while Schumacher is falling away from that juicy scrap.
Lap 25: Hamilton is now right on the tail of Massa and looking to make a move on the Ferrari.
Lap 25: Rosberg's gamble has been dented by being stuck behind Webber at this stage. He'll drop well down the order when he makes a stop.
Lap 25: Timo Glock also has a major problem on his hands. His Virgin entry is crabbing along the road very slowly and Glock sensibly pulls off.
Lap 24: The order now is Webber, Rosberg, Vettel, Kubica, Kobayashi, Massa, Hamilton, Alonso and Schumacher.
Lap 24: Pedro de la Rosa is in big trouble in the pits, as smoke billows from the Sauber. He is heading for retirement.
Lap 24: Rosberg is now second but has yet to stop in the Mercedes.
Lap 24: It's another great stop for Red Bull and Webber is back out in front.
Lap 23: Sutil and De La Rosa are the latest visitors to the busy pitlane.
Lap 23: Hamilton is catching Massa at a great rate of knots in a developing battle for eighth. He is towing Alonso along behind him very nicely.
Lap 23: It's a rapid turn-around on hard tyres and Vettel resumes ahead of Kubica.
Lap 22: Webber laps di Grassi in the Virgin as Vettel stops his Red Bull.
Lap 22: Hamilton is now on the gearbox of Alguersuari ... who pits, releasing the McLaren into tenth position.
Lap 21: Hamilton now runs 11th with Alonso 12th. They did jump Schumacher and Barrichello.
Lap 21: Rosberg is now in clear air and is trying to make a gap before his pitstop.
Lap 21: Sebastian Buemi was briefly up to sixth but he pits in the Toro Rosso.
Lap 21: Chandhok pits the HRT and rejoins. He is down in 22nd place.
Lap 20: Hamilton and Alonso are both through past the stoppers on this lap and are moving very close to the top ten.
