Lap 24: Button is right behind Hamilton and will have fresher tyres for the run to the flag.
Lap 24: Kovalainen in 15th has Alguersuari crawling all over him. The Spaniard is through and now has a mammoth 34 seconds to make up on Barrichello.
Lap 23: Button pits and resumes behind team-mate Hamilton in fifth and now ahead of Mark Webber.
Lap 23: Sutil is also past di Grassi now for 17th position as Senna pits the HRT from 20th.
Lap 23: Meanwhile, Button leads by 5.1 seconds ahead of an imminent stop.
Lap 22: Vettel has finally cleared that traffic and is closing again on the Ferrari battle.
Lap 22: Webber is through on Rosberg at the end of the lap and takes sixth place in the Red Bull.
Lap 22: Massa is still ahead - "this is ridiculous" says Alonso on the radio.
Lap 22: Behind this mighty scrap at the front, Webber is now just 0.4s behind the yet-to-pit Rosberg as they fight over sixth.
Lap 22: Alonso tries again but backs out of the closing door at the Mercedes Arena.

Lap 21: Alonso is right on Massa ...
Lap 21: Massa and Alonso are catching a tailender battle.
Lap 21: Alguersuari is past di Grassi for 16th place, with Kovalainen now four seconds up the road.
Lap 21: Hamilton is now fifth after Kubica's stop but is 8.4 seconds behind Vettel.
Lap 20: Sutil is doing a decent job of following Alguersuari through the new team cars. Sutil is up to 18th with both of them now chasing down di Grassi and Kovalainen.
Lap 20: Vettel is closing rapidly on the squabbling Ferrari pair.
Lap 20: Button leads but is yet to stop. His pace is very strong at the moment on a well-used set of the softer tyres.
Lap 19: The clouds have burned away for the moment, with temperatures warming up as the drivers look for pace on the harder rubber.
Lap 19: Schumacher responds and tries to take 11th from Kubica but the move fails and the Pole holds on.
Lap 19: Alguersuari is now past Senna and takes over 17th place in the Toro Rosso.
Lap 18: Kubica makes his stop and resumes a nose ahead of Schumacher.
Lap 18: Massa is holdng on ahead of team-mate Alonso but only just.
Lap 18: Rosberg also hasn't stopped and is seventh, with Webber stuck behind him in eighth.
Lap 18: Sauber did a good job for Kobayashi and he rejoined still ahead of Barrichello. They run 13th and 14th at the moment with Schumacher just ahead of them.
Lap 17: Hamilton is now boxed behind Kubica, who is fifth and yet to stop in the Renault.
Lap 17: Alguerasuari has passed Glock for 18th and is about to take Senna's HRT on the next lap.
Lap 17: Massa is struggling for pace on the hard rubber and Alonso will soon be past at this rate.
Lap 16: Massa has a huge wobble at the hairpin and only just keeps Alonso behind.
Lap 16: Alguersuari is now on the tail on Glock in a battle for 18th as Kobayashi pits the Sauber from 10th.
Lap 16: Massa locks up at Turn 2 and Alonso is looking to pounce on his team-mate.
Lap 16: Button is yet to stop.
Lap 16: The order is Button from Massa, Alonso and Vettel.
Lap 16: Schumacher and Barrichello are in for tyres. The former will be looking to jump team-mate Rosberg with this early change.
Lap 15: Hamilton is out in sixth but is behind Kubica's Renault.
Lap 15: Massa is down and away ahead of team-mate Alonso.
Lap 15: Webber rejoined in ninth and immediately found himself under strong attack from Kobayashi. So far Webber is just able to keep the place.
Lap 15: Hamilton is also in, while Button continues.
Lap 15: Massa pits this time.
Lap 14: Webber has come back out mired in traffic and it hasn't worked out for the Australian.
