Lap 18: Red Bull fit more harder compound tyres and Vetel resumes behind Barrichello in seventh.
Lap 17: Sebastian Vettel is pushing on now, setting the fastest first and final sector as he approaches his first stop.
Lap 17: The debris remains on the circuit approaching Turn 8, with the drivers managing to avoid it so far.
Lap 16: Buemi is of course 13th, and then the six-car scrap for 14th follows him.
Lap 16: Hamilton leads by an extended margin of 3.1 seconds over Rosberg but these front runners will be concerned over the chance of a safety car to clear that debris.
Lap 16: Just outside the points, Button is still 10th with Nakajima four seconds behind him in 12th. Raikkonen is 12th having passed Buemi, but is not making any impression on the 10 second deficit to the Williams up ahead.
Lap 15: The battle between Fisichella and Liuzzi has enabled Alguersuari and Sutil to pull away to the tune of 2.6 seconds.
Lap 15: Replays show that the reason for the persistent yellow flag is a piece of debris on the circuit from Glock's Toyota.
Lap 14: It will be interesting to see what the stewards make of that repass by the Ferrari driver.
Lap 14: This is wonderful action at the rear of the field. Liuzzi sends a move on Fisichella and makes the move stick beautifully for 16th. Fisichella then goes back inside the Force India and retakes the place at the next corner - but there were yellow flags waving.
Lap 13: Heidfeld has closed up on the train so now we have Alguersuari in 14th with Sutil, Fisichella, Liuzzi, Trulli and Heidfeld (19th) all tight together.
Lap 13: Up front, Hamilton leads by 2.5 seconds over Rosberg but is struggling to shake off the young German.
Lap 13: Oh! Sebastien Buemi has made a mistake in the other Toro Rosso at Turn 5, and Raikkonen takes full advantage and moves up to 12th. Both STR cars look a real handful to drive at the moment.
Lap 12: This battle at the back is getting real tasty. Alguersuari is now the train driver and is a full 16 seconds behind Raikkonen. Alguersuari is three seconds per lap off Raikkonen's pace, and this is splitting the race in two.
Lap 11: The lead trio are now almost ten seconds clear of Glock in fourth.
Lap 11: Bear in mind that both Sutil and Fisichella were called before the stewards yesterday after qualifying for a blocking incident, and Fisichella was reprimanded. He will be keen to get past his old mate Sutil.
Lap 11: Sebastian Vettel is the fastest man through the final sector and quicker overall on the last lap than the two men in front.
Lap 11: Giancarlo Fisichella is now getting on with it, and is pulling away from Liuzzi and Trulli. His race engineer Rob Smedley lets him know about the message to Sutil, and that Giancarlo should try to have a go at the Force India.
Lap 10: Nico Rosberg takes away the fastest lap as the Williams continues in a strong second, now two seconds behind Hamilton.
Lap 10: Webber has the closest challenge to his position in the top ten with Barrichello on his tail.
Lap 10: Sutil has been told over the team radio that his car is overheating as he continues to be stuck behind the Toro Rosso. He will need to move out of the dirty air to try and keep everything cool.
Lap 9: Kimi Raikkonen in 13th sets his quickest lap of the race so far, and has pulled out a large eight second gap over the Alguersuari versus Sutil fight.
Lap 9: Lewis Hamilton's KERS appears to be back to working order and he again sets the fastest lap, pulling 2.4 seconds clear of Rosberg.
Lap 9: Nick Heidfeld is continuing to catch the Fisichella train that is developing. The Ferrari is 16th, with Liuzzi and Trulli close behind.
Lap 8: Radio replays indicate Webber was forced to let Glock and Alonso through after the Australian overtook Alonso while off-track on the first lap.
Lap 8: That slow lap for Webber means the order is now Hamilton, Rosberg, Vettel, Glock, Alonso, Webber, Barrichello, Kubica and Kovalainen.
Lap 8: Adrian Sutil in 15th really needs to send a move on Jaime Alguersuari or his race will be ruined. They are being dropped by Raikkonen, who is now six seconds up the road.
Lap 7: Mark Webber has lost a lot of time with a 1m57s lap. Glock and Alonso are now ahead of him.
Lap 7: Hamilton sets the fastest lap, 1m48.700s, despite his KERS troubles. He is 1.9 seconds clear of Rosberg.
Lap 6: Alguersuari is 14th and a full three seconds down on Raikkonen. Sutil is still close behind the Toro Rosso. Fisichella is 16th and now holding up Liuzzi and Trulli, with Heidfeld 19th and last.
Lap 6: Lewis Hamilton is told on the radio that the team is seeing a problem with the KERS device and he is being asked to disable it.
Lap 6: Down the field, the order is Button in 10th, with Nakajima one second behind him in 11th. Buemi is 12th, followed by Raikkonen.
Lap 5: Heikki Kovalainen has drifted to 3.1 seconds behind Kubica in ninth.
Lap 5: Webber is begining to fall away from the lead trio in fourth, followed by Glock, Alonso, Barrichello and Kubica.
Lap 5: Kimi Raikkonen hasn't been able to make any progress in the early laps. He is 13th and 1.4 seconds behind Sebastien Buemi.
Lap 5: Vettel is in a comfortable third, keeping Rosberg in sight, but he is fuelled shorter than the Williams and has little chance of getting past.
Lap 4: Romain Grosjean comes into the pits in the Renault and he is the first retirement. Grosjean is out.
Lap 4: Hamilton sets the fastest lap again but Rosberg is keeping him honest, just a fraction slower. The pair have a similar fuel load, with the Williams due in perhaps a lap earlier.
Lap 4: Liuzzi is the more likely driver to make a move soon. He is tied to the gearbox of Fisichella's Ferrari as they fight over 16th place.
