Lap 32: Rubens again sets the fastest lap, which is beaten by Raikkonen and then Massa.

Jenson's lead is down to a still-comfortable 15 seconds.
Lap 32: Lewis can continue charging with a clear road ahead once again. His next target is Timo Glock in 14th place. The gap between them is just under ten seconds.
Lap 31: Lewis Hamilton had just about caught Robert in front of him, but as he does so the Pole comes into the pits.

The BMW stops and is quickly wheeled into the garage. It's all over for Robert after a disastrous weekend for the team.
Lap 29: Meanwhile, Rubens Barrichello is the fastest man on the track as he begins to close on Button's lead.
Lap 29: Fernando Alonso pits after a long first stint. He resumes behind the heavily-fuelled Fisichella in 11th.
Lap 26: Jenson Button sets his best lap of the day as he continues to lead strongly in Monaco. Button's pace at the end of the first stint on super-soft rubber has proven to be decisive so far.

The Brawn pair have the advantage of not having to use the softer tyre later on, while the Ferraris will be forced on to the fragile rubber.
Lap 26: Nick Heidfeld is just over three seconds behind Fisichella in 12th. Nick has a huge gap behind him to Trulli in 13th, with Glock 14th, Kubica 15th and Lewis Hamilton still struggling on in 16th place.

Lewis is now beginning to close down that gap to Kubica in front of him. They are separated by 3.9 seconds.
Lap 25: Felipe Massa is fifth, which will be fourth when Alonso pits, ahead of Webber, Rosberg and that battle between Kovalainen and Nakajima.
Lap 24: A battle is developing on the circuit between the recently-pitted Kovalainen in eighth, Nakajima ninth and Bourdais in tenth. Fisichella is also close behind these three in 11th place.
Lap 24: Button leads by 16 seconds over team-mate Barrichello. Kimi Raikkonen is in a solid third, with Fernando Alonso fourth and yet to stop.
Lap 23: Webber resumes behind Massa in sixth - ahead of Rosberg and Kovalainen.
Lap 22: Lewis Hamilton is not been able to make any further progress over recent laps. He is down in 16th place and struggling to make inroads on Kubica (16th) ahead of him.
Lap 22: Kovalainen pits, taking the popular hard tyre option. He is back on track in between the Williams pair in eighth.
Lap 21: Massa will be right behind team-mate Raikkonen once Fernando Alonso pits his Renault.
Lap 21: Massa re-joins and he has leaped Rosberg with a longer run than the Williams.
Lap 20: Behind those four Barrichello is fifth with Kimi Raikkonen close in sixth. Alonso is on the Finn's tail seventh, with Rosberg eighth, Nakajima ninth and Bourdais tenth.
Lap 19: Massa, Kovalainen and Webber have yet to make their first stops as Button crosses the line as the leader once again.
Lap 19: Rosberg pits and resumes behind Raikkonen and Alonso in eighth.
Lap 18: Felipe Massa is on the tail of Button but also soon needs to make a first stop.
Lap 18: Button is out in second, behind Rosberg, who is yet to stop in the Williams.
Lap 18: Sebastian Vettel's race is over the good now, as he climbs out of his crashed Red Bull Renault at the exit of Sainte Devote. Replays show that the young German had no front end grip on turn-in to the corner. When he realised it was going wrong he hit the brakes in an effort to get round, but by then it was too late.

He crunched into the tyres and is out of the race.
Lap 18: Jenson takes hard tyres - which he can now run in both this and the final stint.
Lap 17: Barrichello pits the Brawn to switch on to the harder tyre.

Rubens rejoins and is ahead of Raikkonen and Alonso.
Lap 16: Raikkonen takes more of the favourable harder tyres and he resumes in seventh, ahead of Alonso's Renault.
Lap 15: Losing out to Barrichello at the start was a massive blow for Raikkonen ... who pits the Ferrari.
Lap 15: Sebastian Vettel rejoined following his pitstop in 13th place. Immediately he is quick on the circuit, but is buried in traffic and his chances of scoring points this afternoon are diminishing as he continues behind heavily-fueled cars such as Heidfeld and Nakajima ahead of him.
Lap 15: Raikkonen continues to hound Barrichello as Button pulls to over ten seconds in the lead.
Lap 14: Felipe Massa and Nico Rosberg are setting the pace at the moment on the harder tyre choice.
Lap 14: Hamilton rejoined from his pitstop in 18th place, last of the remaining runners.

Adrian Sutil now comes into the pits in the Force India, relinquishing 17th place to the world champion.
Lap 14: These struggles for the runners on super-soft rubber will worry the engineers, with most of the field still to use that option later in the race.
Lap 13: Rubens has fallen over seven seconds behind Button, who is holding on to his softer option tyres.
Lap 13: Sebastien Buemi retired on the spot up the escape road at St. Devote.
Lap 13: Kimi Raikkonen is now all over Barrichello's gearbox as the Brazilian begins to struggle on the super-soft tyre.
Lap 13: There has been contact between Nelson Piquet and Sebastien Buemi at Sainte Devote as they battled over tenth place. Piquet was slowing normally for the right-hander, but behind him, Buemi missed his brakes completely and slammed straight into the back of the Renault.

Piquet has recovered to the pits but is being wheeled away into retirement.
Lap 12: Lewis Hamilton has pitted, possibly with damage from contact with Nick Heidfeld's BMW.
Lap 11: Sebastian Buemi has piled in to the back of Piquet at Ste Devote.
