Lap 25: Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton have jumped Nick Heidfeld as the stops in the second half of the field shake out.

Alonso is 18th, Hamilton 19th and Heidfeld 20th currently, as they run behind the one-stoppers.
Lap 24: Giancarlo Fisichella has pitted the Force India after an excellent first stint.
Lap 23: Nick Heidfeld brings his slow BMW into the pits from 12th place.
Lap 23: Vettel is away with a clean stop and has retained the lead.
Lap 22: Lewis Hamilton pits the McLaren and is already back out after a very quick stop.
Lap 22: Barrichello is trying all he can to get his track position back as Vettel pits from a 23 second lead.
Lap 22: That single extra lap was all he needed as Webber only just sneaks out in front of the Brawn.
Lap 22: Alonso rejoins in 20th place at the back of the field, but has clear vtrack importantly ahead of him, and already setting personal best times.
Lap 21: Mark Webber is in the pits, one lap later than Barrichello.
Lap 21: That releases Mark Webber to put on a surge of pace as the Brawn swaps to the harder tyre.
Lap 21: Fernando Alonso is fed up behind Nick Heidfeld in the BMW, so he dives into the pits, rejoining down the order and should be able to jump ahead of the BMW driver when he stops.
Lap 20: They resume with Trulli ahead of Raikkonen with Button ahead of Nakajima.
Lap 19: Fisichella is now up into tenth following Nakajima's stop. The Japasnese has rejoined 11th with Heidfeld 12th and maintaining his slight advantage over the chasing second-half pack.
Lap 18: Sebastian Vettel leads by an astonishing 17 seconds before the first stops.
Lap 18: Raikkonen resumes and he is ahead of Nakajima, who has lost a place with that slow stop.
Lap 18: Nick Heidfeld sets his quickest lap of the race so far, and it's still nearly one second slower than Fisichella's last lap. The Heidfeld group from 11th down is now a massive 57 seconds behind the leader Vettel.
Lap 17: Kimi Raikkonen is the next man to stop, taking more soft tyres.
Lap 17: There is a fumble on the right front wheel but Nakajima resumes in the massive gap behind Fisichella.
Lap 16: Sebastien Buemi is 18th, Kovalainen struggling in 19th and Sutil remains last in 20th place.
Lap 16: The Williams team are ready in the pit lane, expecting Nakajima from fourth.
Lap 16: Behind them, Fisichella is still 11th and in clear space, running competitively. He now has a 20 second buffer over the major fight that is developing as Heidfeld backs up Alonso, Kubica, Hamilton, Piquet and Bourdais in 17th.
Lap 14: Nico Rosberg is closing on Kimi Raikkonen's Ferrari, with Trulli, Button, Massa and Glock drawing in to a close pack in the latter half of the top ten.
Lap 13: Lewis Hamilton gets a great tow behind Robert Kubica as they argue over 14th place. The Briton is reaching the rev limiter as he surges towards the back of the BMW at the end of the Hangar straight, and this will blunt his progress.

Up ahead of them, Heidfeld is still defending heavily from Alonso in a fight for 12th.
Lap 13: Sebastian Vettel has a mammoth 12 second lead as he continues off into the distance.
Lap 11: Once again Fernando Alonso is forced to the outside at Vale by Heidfeld, as this great fight for 12th continues. This train could be up to six cars soon as the Kubica-Hamilton fight for 14th continues to close in.

Heidfeld's pace with the damaged front wing is so slow, that Giancarlo Fisichella has pulled out a 4.5 second lead over them in 11th.
Lap 11: Jenson Button remains on the tail of Trulli's Toyota and the Brawn team are worried about Massa's Ferrari behind, which has several laps more fuel onboard.

Trulli and Button have a very similar fuel load.
Lap 10: Nakajima continues to hold fourth, with Raikkonen's Ferrari fifth, ahead of Rosberg's Williams.
Lap 9: Alonso takes a tighter line than the BMW driver in Stowe corner, but Nick defends the inside well going into the Vale each lap, giving the Spaniard no clear opportunity to pass.
Lap 9: Vettel's lead is now the length of the Hangar straight as Rubens Barrichello struggles for pace in second, although the Brazilian is still holding off Webber's Red Bull.
Lap 9: Nelson Piquet (16th) and Sebastien Bourdais (17th) are catching the Kubica-Hamilton battle as a four-car fight starts to develop.

A couple of seconds up the road, Fernando Alonso is all over the back of Nick Heidfeld as they scrap over 12th.
Lap 8: Sebastian Vettel continues to storm off in the lead with another fastest lap. He already has an advantage of over six seconds, while the action continues in the second half of the field.
Lap 7: While the drama of the first couple of laps was playing out, Heikki Kovalainen made an awful start in the second McLaren. He is way down the list in 19th position at the moment, with Sutil still 20th after starting from the pitlane.
Lap 6: Nick Heidfeld is in trouble with a damaged front wing on the BMW Sauber. He is 12th at the moment but is backing up Alonso, Kubica and Hamilton behind him.
Lap 6: Mark Webber continues to hound Barrichello's Brawn in a scrap for second as they fall further behind leader Vettel.
Lap 6: Jenson Button is now right on the tail of Trulli's Toyota in eighth. Replays of the start show that it was Trulli who boxed in Button in the scramble off the line.
