Latifi has been spotted with an engine cover similar to last year's, featuring the baby shark-fin (do do do do-do-do) rather than the full-size version. Of course, said aero testing was paused after a slight spin...
Track has been quiet for a few minutes. Conditions aren't massively useful for much at the moment.
Crash
Latifi has run onto the gravel at Turn 12. He's kept it out of the wall, but has returned to the pitlane.
Autosport
Latifi heads back out on track, but has yet to log a time. He had a tricky morning yesterday, after the engine in his Williams cried enough. Williams has had to fit its third engine of the pre-season after numerous issues:

Red Bull looks in no rush to head out, but it has fitted aero rakes to Verstappen's car for when he does decide to head out.

Vettel has now come in as well.
Just as we say that, Bottas bails.
Still only Bottas and Vettel on circuit at present. Still a bit of spray being kicked up at certain spots, but there is a dry line forming elsewhere on track.
Vettel makes another marginal improvement to a 1m35.860s.
Twitter
The Ferrari definitely looks a lot twitchier than the Mercedes. Vettel does improve, but is some 5.2s off Bottas's pace.
Stopwatch
Bottas improves this time around to a 1m31.214s, but once again lost time in the final sector.
Vettel goes into second in the Ferrari with a 1m39.515s; Bottas is on a flier again.
Bottas lost a fair bit of time in the final sector, though the track looks to be driest there. Can't imagine it will be long before we have someone daring to go out on slicks for the first time.
Stopwatch
Bottas blitzes Ocon's time with a 1m31.928s.
Vettel and Latifi join Bottas, who has carried on for a flying lap and is already up on Ocon's current best effort, on track.
Bottas heads on circuit for the first time. He'll take the morning session in the Mercedes, before team-mate Hamilton takes over this afternoon.
Ocon had a couple of lovely slides during that lap, including on the way into the pitlane.

Stopwatch
Giovinazzi bails out of that lap, but Ocon carries on to a 1m40.059s.
Stopwatch
1m41.576s for Ocon that time around. Giovinazzi has carried on for a lap.
Stopwatch
Ocon grows in confidence on the inters and improves to a 1m42.580s.
Giovinazzi takes the Alfa Romeo out on track. He was sidelined yesterday in favour of Robert Kubica and Kimi Raikkonen, but he's got the car to himself today.

Magnussen's seen enough and is back into pitlane.
Stopwatch
Ocon's first lap is a 1m45.701s.
Ocon, slipping and sliding his way round the track, goes onto a flying lap. Meanwhile, Magnussen ventures out onto circuit now.
Green flag
Pitlane goes green and Renault's Esteban Ocon is first out on track on intermediates.

Wednesday's running was a rather cagey affair, as our own Grand Prix Editor Alex Kalinauckas explains:

Need a recap on yesterday's action? Here's our verdict from the opening day of the second test.

Overnight rain has left the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya a little bit damp, so there might not be a mad rush to begin with.
Green flag
Good morning and welcome to day two of the final F1 pre-season test!
Team Autosport is ready for what should be an intriguing day of running.
